Staff is very friendly. The property is clean and conveniently located to St Marks and Rialto bridge. There is a coffee machine in the lobby area but doesn’t work sometimes. Overalls we enjoyed the stay very much.

Nice property but air doesn’t work well. Had it on the lowest setting for 2 nights and never would cool off. Also if you are planning on using WiFi this is not the place for you. The service goes in and out continuously.

I made this same day reservation by mistake on Expedia, and called immediately to rectify the mistake when the confirmation came in. Expedia contacted the hotel to inform them of the problem and they still charged my credit card and said it was not possible to change the dates, because it was a same day reservation. The hotel the were sorry, there was nothing they could do. I feel they ripped me off and were not helpful in rectifying the situation as long as they got my money.

I had a reservation at Hotel San Luca, theroomst are accessible only via stairs. I was told to check in at Hotel Bella Venezia(sister) hotel across the street. Chitara greeted me warmly and switched me to Bella Venezia effortlessly. BV is clean, comfortable, and in a great location.

Place to lay my head, reasonable price if kept tidy, near many attractions. Shower leaked and had to change rooms after 1 night, room doesnt look like its been painted in years, safe key didnt unlock the tiny safe. The tv was absolutely tiny. No english channels I could find?? Fridge in the first room. Neither in the second so i had to discard things i bought after switching rooms figuring i would have a fridge for the duration of the stay. All right for a short stay but thats about it and dont expect much.

Certain times of year do not provide air con, which I do typically not mind. Unfortunately, our timing struck both this and mosquito season. I got bit all over since I slept with windows open, many bites to my face. Also in a lively area, so windows open was a bit noisy. Other than that, lovely stay.

The location was great, walking distance to everything. Close to amazing restaurants and good shopping. The accommodation itself was very noisy at night but stopped at 11 when the places below closed. We were on the first floor facing a side alley.Noisy early in the morning while they cleaned up from the night before and chatted while doing it. Lots of mosquitoes in the room. Beds comfortable.

The description for the hotel can be a bit misleading and vague. So the hotel you stay with is the Hotel Bella Venezia, which is around the corner from the room we booked, the panoramic apartment. The listing doesnt say this, but it is a whole apartment with a kitchen, two bathrooms, two bedrooms, and a den that has a pull-out couch. This was a surprise to us, as this information isn’t clearly communicated in the listing. It was a nice surprise, but I don’t like to be surprised when booking my hotels. There was just a general lack of clarity on what was being booked; even though the listing says two double beds and one single, I had to argue with the hotel to give me the single bed, as they said because of the number of people in my party I would only be given the two doubles. In the end they gave it to me, but that was incredibly frustrating to have to argue for the room I paid for. While the accommodations were good, it was clearly just someone’s apartment that was being rented out (kitchen could be used but they were very strict about how it had to be left, there was a giant locked liquor cabinet). When I book a hotel, I want a hotel; if I wanted an AirBnb I would have booked that, so that was frustrating. However, I will say the apartment is a good location, relatively nice, and the staff were helpful. But generally, the lack of transparency for what the accommodations are negatively impacted my stay.
