I've traveled and stayed in many hotels before. But the staff was rude and disrespectful. When a issue came up they just ignored and showed no interest in helping. Don't stay at this hotel!

Nothing like the pictures on Expedia. There is no rod to hang clothes in the makeshift closet. For the amount of money it is definitely not worth the money- really run down. Door is filthy. We can see outside from the door. I have a picture. Didn’t feel safe at all. Has a sign park at your risk. What kind of hotel has that kind of sign?

Comfy bed — no frills hotel

The bed was comfy and room somewhat updated but the halls were dirty with stinky trash bins outside the doors . The staff was very very nice . Just need to keep working on making this very inexpensive place better! Bathrooms clean and “re-done.” But they need to do some “detailing” of corners and update the hallways a bit .

New favorite in town

Wow. This spot was a great value. I'm confident you won't find better value in Front Royal. The bathroom was wider than average, which was nice. The a/c was quiet and efficient. The mattresses must have been nearly new. They were firm. There was more than one chair. There's an attached restaurant. I was impressed.

Firstly, the photos of this property were gravely misleading as the facilities were run down and nothing like the expected amenities depicted. Furthermore, albeit all rooms allegedly being “non-smoking” our room on the second floor wreaked of cigarette smoke and with my travel companion having asthma was unacceptable; contacted Front Desk where we were assured that the room itself was cleaned prior to our arrival the bathroom toilet was found to have black hairs on the seat upon attempting first use by my wife who is a ginger. We out of pocket purchased a bottle of Febreeze and a scented candle to remedy the smoke smell problem. Additionally, regarding the continental breakfasts, there is an imposed $25 fee to bring food items back to the room.

Decent hotel for the price, good breakfast & a nice pool. Rooms need some updating, none of the lights worked except the bathroom light & one small light by the bed. In their defense we didn’t report the issue we just made it work. Staff were friendly & helpful.

Comfortable economic stay

We stayed here at the stars of our Skyline/Shenandoah vacation. While the outside appearance might make you think it is outdated, the rooms are clean, the bed is comfortable and the staff is friendly and accommodating. The onsite restaurant serves Thai food and it is really good. The room rate includes a hot breakfast. The hotel location is centrally located close to the Shenandoah river and the northern entrance to the Skyline drive. We had an excellent 2 day stay!

Good breakfast, but all was dirty here, the pool and all is disgusting. Very 3rd world conditions here, no American standards of a hotel here, the food was good for breakfast, but that was it, the parking is far away from your room. The pool is a real scare, so dirty. The entire hotel needs a remodel and paint job, just so dirty and uncared for. Very third world conditions overall. Plus it was supposed to be queen beds, but they are only full, not queen. A lot of lies about this dirty place, the pictures are deceiving. They need to invest in this place better and raise the standards. We would not recommend this hotel as Americans.
