If you are looking for tranquility this is the place! We were a little disappointed for many reasons. First off, there was blood on the bathroom floor. Second the hot knob on one of the faucets did not work. In addition, we were unable to use the fireplace, apparently it was out of order. Our other dislikes are personal. You have to step behind the toilet in order to shut the door of the water closet. The bed was so high and hard as a rock. I felt like princess and the pea sleeping on a slab of concrete. There is NO TV, I am a reader so this didn’t bother me but my husband was bummed. We paid $1000 for two nights and let me tell you it was pretty much just for the view. Everything needs updating, floors are in rough shape, linoleum in the bathrooms and the furniture has seen better days and doesn’t match. Room was spacious but they do NOT offer daily housekeeping. There is an ice machine but no water.
