Perfect and charming

Amazing place to stay in Amsterdam. Location is excellent right on a canal and near tram stop but also easy walking distance to many places. Rooms are beautiful, charming and helpful staff, lovely continental breakfast. They gave us complimentary breakfast when we arrived from our very early flight while we waited for our room. The building is original architecture with updated rooms, very comfortable if you can handle steep stairs! The staff will carry your bags for you.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The staff was so lovely - welcoming, friendly and helpful. I was surprised they could get our heavy luggage up the steep Dutch staircase. The hotel is in the perfect location - on a canal and close to restaurants and shopping. We were able to walk everywhere. Our room was cute and well-appointed though small. But it was just my husband and me on this trip, and we don’t need much. Would definitely stay here again!

We stayed for 3 nights at Hotel 717, and it was absolutely perfect! The staff were so attentive and helpful from the moment I booked til we got in our taxi to come home. I couldn’t fault a thing! We stayed here on our trip to Amsterdam and we love this hotel! The hotel itself is very quaint and nice size rooms and maintains the historical feel and theme of the city. The best part of the hotel is the staff! The hospitality and service at this hotel is top notch, they are so attentive and nice. Vincent and his staff are amazing we would definitely come stay here again.
