Convenient location, nice staff, good option

Great location on a small park with a handful of eateries nearby. Bedding was fine, room & WC big by European standards. Windows were great so no outside noise although the hallway noise echoed. Staff were really helfpful and nice. We lost track of the time JUST got back at noon check out time, they accommodated us needing an extra 20 minutes to pack. Free luggage storage. Didn't do the breakfast buffet but it looked nice. Very convenient to everything! If you want a great meal, try Kabul down the same street. LOVELY food, great value, nice people. Cheap wine/beer for a pause? 100 Mondatios across the park. BUT Barcelona is FULL of amazing eateries so we used these because we were dead tired end of day!

The receptionist was very nice, the hotel as well. Although the room was a bit small. But I knew what it was from the pictures, they are clear. The beds were comfy and the bathroom nice. It’s in El Raval, dodgy area a little bit but if you’re street smart you’ll be fine. You can walk in the centre from there so the location is good.

I like the hotel. The air conduit omg wasn’t the best and it got pretty hot in the room. Overall a nice hotel. The area the hotel is located is called The Ravel. I wasn’t aware of the bad rap they had before booking, we didn’t notice anything wrong until people started to warn us to not walk at night, be careful, not a safe neighborhood, so we stayed in our room most of the time at night.

**Terrible Experience - Do Not Stay Here** I recently stayed at Abba Hotel, and it was one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a hotel. The cleanliness of the hotel was unacceptable; our room and common areas were dirty and poorly maintained. The surroundings were even worse, with trash and debris everywhere, making the area feel unsafe. Unfortunately, my husband was robbed right outside the hotel (a guy pulled his necklaces from his neck), which added to our distress and ruined our stay. The management seemed indifferent to our concerns and provided no assistance or support. I strongly advise against staying at this hotel if you value your safety and cleanliness.
