I found this lodge at the last minute and had a great experience. The room was clean, the staff was friendly, and it had everything I needed, including hot water. It’s also very close to the Village and the lake. Highly recommend!

We had one of the spa suite rooms and it was really nice. Pretty much 2 rooms combined and a back patio which was really great for our dogs. Lucky for us we were able to even check in early (around 1:30-2pm) which I greatly appreciated and 11am checkout time is amazing to me as well because usually anywhere else is 10am and I’m calling asking for late checkout lol. I did absolutely appreciate and loveee the fact the spa suite room is dog friendly. We love to travel with our dogs and not all the time are pets allowed in every room so being able to reserve the room we want and accommodate our dogs was great. The spa tub worked great very big and pretty deep, all jets work, clean, and right next to a lil fire. The tv is on a swivel tables too so you can watch it while you’re in the tub. Super close to the village too. Literally like a 5-10 minute walk. 4 burner stove. Mini fridge that got so cold my drinks got kinda slushy. A few pots and pans, as well as plates bowls silverware were in the room too with dish soap and a sponge. Everything for us to make an amazing dinner and breakfast. 10/10 will be coming to stay here whenever we go to Big Bear from now on.

The room definitely did not look like any of the photos. The heater made an awful clanking noise and there was a awful bitter smell in our room upon arrival. The towels looked like they needed a refresh. We were exhausted so we passed out, but unfortunately we won't be staying there again.

Location is the best part. Walking distance to the lake and downtown nightlife. Property need a lil upkeep but way better than your beat motel 6. Rooms are a bit noisy from traffic and other guests, we could hear the hot tub water running for a very long time from the room next to us. We will be back
