Lovely hotel, kind of an English vibe to it. Staff were helpful and friendly. Rooms well cared for. Breakfast is incredible. The only complaint was the air conditioning wasn't on yet, room would be a little warm in the morning but not terrible.

I stayed here as a single female traveller for 2 nights whilst I visited family. It’s very convenient to reach being only 5 minutes walk from Bologna centrale station. You can reach the main square on foot in about 15 minutes and window shop on route! The room was clean and comfortable. Good waster pressure and a comfortable bed made even better by having thin washable quilts instead of wool blankets on the bed which is so much more hygienic. The breakfast was plentiful. I would stay here again. I found it value for money and I felt safe In the hotel and walking around the local area. The hotel is a little dated but I feel that’s the style more than anything else. Lots of small areas to sit in on the ground floor. I am pleased with my choice and would recommend for convenience and price.

This hotel may have been very grand a very long time ago. There's a shabbiness and a sort of faded elegance about the place. I was not comfortable here, To be quite honest the place gave me the creeps and it put me in mind of the Overlook hotel from the movie The Shining. The hotel is very wide, so there was a long, long walk from the elevator to my room; they do not have bellhops available. For a hotel of this size, I would expect a bellhop to help me with my luggage. I was not impressed and I would not stay here again.

I think that this was a 5-star hotel but it didn’t keep up that standard and it becomes an old hotel. As a gold member of Expedia, I would get 20 euro credit for “food and drink” but I was told that breakfast is NOT “food” therefore I could not use 20 euro credit towards a breakfast. Beware the hotel may not honour whatever promised.
