We were greeted by Eddie at the Valet & he helped with my bag(I have a fracture in my back & just found out. ) he brought us right to the front desk. We were waited on by Katie, she was very pleasant. It was around 12pm so our romm was not ready yet, which was fine because they took our bags until we returned. We had a appt at a Salon on Newbury Street. We were celebrating my friends 60th Birthday. We received a text that our room was ready around 1:17 pm that our room was ready! That was great that it was ready early. After our hair appts we headed back to the hotel. We checked in with Katie & got our room keys & bags. We headed up to our room & the hotel is beautiful I meant to say! We had a premier corner room w 2 queen beds as my daughter & her friend were coming to join us around 4:30 today. The room was very big w high ceilings n we had a view in one window of the harbor. The other window had a view of the beautiful catherdral! The room was clean n nice n the bathroom was also. I was hoping for double sinks but it was fine for one night. We had reservations for dinner at the Granary Tavern for 7pm. We were having prosecco in our room, there was a ice machine right down the hall from the room n a vending machine which could be charge to the room for sodas etc. My daughter & her friend got stuck in traffic coming to the hotel so we decided to go downstairs & get a cocktail at the Fin Point Oyster Bar & Grille. It was busy but we grabbed two seats at the bar.
