Tantalus Villa, Brighton Beach, St. Michael, on rannalla sijaitseva kiinteistö Barbadoksen länsirannikolla. Kiinteistö koostuu päärakennuksesta, jossa on 2 erillistä asuntoa, kolmen makuuhuoneen sviitistä pohjakerroksessa ja viiden makuuhuoneen sviitistä päärakennuksen kahdella ylemmällä tasolla. Rakennuksen ylempi Villa-taso on kaksikerroksinen 5 makuuhuoneen, viiden kylpyhuoneen asunto, jossa on korkealaatuinen korallikiven viimeistely ja lattia. Kokonaispinta-ala on noin 4200 neliöjalkaa kahdella ylemmällä tasolla, suuret parvekkeet kahdella tasolla. Korallikivipinnoitteet ovat korkeatasoisia, ja niissä on pääkivihuoneiden ja käytävien välinen kuori-kivilattia ja lämmin valkaistu mäntykatto useimmissa makuuhuoneissa ja jokainen makuuhuone on täysin ilmastoitu ja varustettu kattotuulettimilla.
Tantalus Villan ylemmän tason tärkein ominaisuus on suuri avoin oleskelutila, josta on näkymät kauniille Karibianmerelle. Tämä on rannan ystäville ilahduttavaa, koska tilavalta parvekkeelta on näkymät kauniille hiekkarannalle ja Karibianmeren akvamariinille. Itse Brighton Beach on yksi Barbadoksen länsirannikon suosituimmista uima- / rantayhdistämisalueista. Nautitanne rannalla tai vedessä vietetyn päivän jälkeen olet erinomaisella paikalla katsomaan toista Karibian auringonlaskua, joka näkyy loistavilla väreillä heti parvekkeeltasi. Nauti ateriasi 12-paikkaisessa pyöreässä lasisessa ruokapöydässä merinäköalalla ja vain muutaman askeleen päässä suuresta gourmetkeittiöstä, jossa on kaikki mukavuudet. Kaikissa ulko-ovissa ja -ikkunoissa on täysin siirrettävät istutusikkunat, jotta tuulet ja valo virtaavat läpi.
Tämän kaksikerroksisen sviitin alaosan takaosaan on kaksi makuuhuonetta ja mediahuone sekä pesula- / kodinhoitoalue, ja ylimmällä tasolla on vielä kolme makuuhuonetta ja kuntosali. Yläkerran makuuhuoneessa on massiivinen huone, jossa on oma veranta ja näkymät uima-altaalle ja merelle. Se on upea huone, jolla on tunne asumisesta ylellisessä puutalossa, ja et ehkä koskaan halua lähteä.
Talon vieressä on suuri suorakaiteen muotoinen uima-allas, jonka toisessa päässä on roomalaisia askelmia. Allas on mosaiikkilaatoitettu tumman koboltinsinisen värin kanssa, joka pitää sen poikkeuksellisen lämpimänä ympäri vuoden. Tontit ovat hyvin kehittyneitä, kypsillä puilla ja pensasilla, ja rannan varrella on yli tusinaa kookospähkinää ja muita palmuja. Yläkerran ja päätason asunnoille on erilliset rantaportit, jokaisella on oma ulkosuihku ja oleskelu- / oleskelualue. Itse Brighton Beach on leveä, rauhallinen ranta, joka sopii erinomaisesti kaikenlaiseen aktiviteettiin. Uinti ja snorklaus ovat erittäin hyviä ja voit lenkillä tai kävellä keskeytyksettä hiekalla yli kilometrin kumpaankin suuntaan.
Muita myönteisiä piirteitä on, että sijainti on erinomainen pääsy keskustaan, West Coast, Warrens ja ABC Highway. Brighton Road on aivan Spring Garden Highway -kadun varrella, joten talo ei ole päätien varrella eikä kotiovellesi ole linja-autoja tai suurta kuorma-autoliikennettä. Kiinteistössä on myös hyvää tuulet suurimman osan vuotta, koska se ei ole länsirannikon korkeampien maiden varjossa. Ihanteellinen perheen asunto rauhallisella alueella, hyvä turvallisuus.

Our stay at Tantalus Villa was truly a 5 star ! Everything about this vacation home is outstanding! My family of 5 adults and 4 children enjoyed every minute of our time here. The pictures are accurate, from the most beautiful beach right outside your doorstep, to the crystal clean pool and hot tub, spacious outdoor space and comfortable sleeping quarters. Umbrellas and chairs made our time on the beach a highlight. John Paul and Heather could not have been more helpful and responsive to every question. Their driver Vernon took us to and from the airport and Shelley, their private chef prepared an authentic Caribbean meal that even the children enjoyed! Do not hesitate to book Tantalus Villa for a memorable vacation on the beautiful island of Barbados!

Truly Amazing!

Tantalus Villa is truly amazing! The property, grounds and beach are perfect! The house is stocked well and very clean and JP and Heather are excellent hosts. They have truly thought of everything! The welcome guide was thorough and provided us with so much information to help us with the property and on the island. We were with a large group of adults and were in Barbados for a wedding at a different villa. It was so nice to have a wonderful spot to rest at the beach or by the pool between wedding activities. There is enough space for everyone with lots of seating for us to spread out and enjoy our time in Barbados. There aren't a lot of restaurants near by but there are plenty of stores to get everything you need for the house. I would stay at Tantalus again in a heart beat! Thank you JP and Heather!

Perfect Family Vacation Location

Beautiful residence in a most perfect location. Each family member/couple had their own room and bathroom. The master has a magnificent patio overlooking the ocean and the main floor veranda is the perfect hang-out spot for the family. JP was the perfect owner/manager assisting when needed. 60th birthday celebration

perfect for large or small groups, JP was very helpful and always answered our questions promptly, very friendly house keepers and grounds keeper, JP recommended an amazing chef Shelly I only wished I used her at least 4 times instead of two she is over the top good. views are fantastic and the beach could not be closer or better. all adult kids and their spouses loved the house and beach. we had a photographer Josee she is prompt and has the best eye for great pictures. JP recommend bug spray and I am glad we brought some they are not bad at all but two of the kids seem to attract bugs. we are picky with shampoo, conditioner and lotion so we brought our own. He does provide these items. If we needed anything JP is on site and he made sure we had what we needed. Keep in mind the bedrooms are air conditioned and rest of the house is open living with out air, which there is a breeze. The pool is perfect size. The hot tub does not work properly but JP had the gas company come and they are trying to fix the problem. One ceiling fan doesn't work and two work real slow, but once again JP wasn't aware of the problem and is gonna replace them. I would recommend this house and would stay there again. *****

Paradise!!!

Beach Lover's Delight proved to be the PERFECT vacation Getaway for our family. The view was BreathTaking!!! The house offered everything you could need for a relaxing vacation.The pool was Beautiful and Refreshing. The staff went out of their way to exceed our needs. Joe was a Gracious and Friendly host. This was by far the Greatest house we have rented in our 20 plus years of traveling as a family!!!

Family Treasure

This property was full of surprises and the views were amazing. Our 3 year old Grand Princess truly enjoyed herself and didn’t want to leave. Extraordinary Property and Hosts!

The pictures and description of the Villa cannot fully capture the actual beauty, prime beach location, and “high style” of the property. Combined with the genuine warmth and hospitality of hosts - JP & Heather - this is a must-rent property for an unforgettable vacation. The three of us friends had plenty of space to spread out - each having a great bedroom and private bathroom. Ample comfortable and spacious common areas for hanging out together. The toughest choice each day was how to divide our time between the clean and refreshing pool or the beautiful sandy beach about 20 to 25 yards away from the main Villa. The hosts were so helpful with recommendations for a private driver, restaurant options, stocking the kitchen to our request, providing a courtesy drive to grocery store, and arranging an in-Villa private dining experience. Perhaps my best vacation rental experience of all time!

Excellent Villa

We loved our stay at Tantalus Villa. The villa was spacious, clean and had everything you needed. JP and Heather were great hosts. They always responded promptly to our questions and were very helpful during our stay. The villa has a great pool and right on Brighton Beach for great swims and long walks on the beach. It is in a great location. Highly recommended. Thanks for a great stay.

Beautiful spacious beach home

Everything was topnotch from start to finish. Communication was first rate. So much room for our family to spread out and enjoy Barbados. We had Shelly cook us dinner one night - it's a must if you stay at Tantalus! Angela was a joy and helped us in one way or another almost every day. JP was an excellent host - best vrbo experience I've had to date. Pool and hot tub were perfect but the beach is exactly what you look for - clean soft sand and beautiful water. Cannot recommend this experience enough. Stores groceries and restaurants all a short drive away. JP recommended Vernon for transportation since we had a large group and parking was at a minimum. Excellent car service! JP has many recommendations- all of which we appreciated. Thank you for a great stay!!

Beautiful Getaway

My friends and I rented this property for. Girls trip. The house was amazing. It’s right on the beach so the ocean breeze was wonderful everyday. The owners as well as all of the staff were extremely welcoming and attentive. I would definitely rent again!

An amazing getaway.

Tantalus was a dream. 7 days flew by so quickly. The smell of banana bread welcomes us when we arrived. The villa was very beautiful and spacious. The pictures didn't do it justice. The owners were very helpful and prompt in replying to messages. Would highly recommend this villa to anyone.

Perfection!

Friendly and helpful owners, steps away from a gorgeous beach, house has so many outdoor places to relax, master bedroom is wonderfully situated to see the ocean and feel the breezes, great staff ( have Shelly cook a meal for your group, have Robert bring you homemade Bajan food). Nothing here will disappoint you!
