We were so disappointed with this resort. We are not picky travellers and are open minded to accepting a variety of situations but we were terribly dismayed at this resort. The room: paper thin walls. We got no sleep for two nights as we could hear everything that was happening in our neighbours room. We asked to be moved as we were not getting rest. They did this with nonissue but down graded our room. The second room had a leaky faucet that continuously drained onto the floor. We dealt with it by using towels as cleaning staff did nothing to deal with the issue Food: buffet options and only two restaurants available. Apparently the resort is a tiered resort when it comes to dining. We did not know this upon booking and were so disappointed that we had to eat the same things everyday. Small stands at the pool frequently ran out of food and had long lineups. Entertainment: none for families. Huge resort and nothing to see. Overall this resort is not worth the money. We had read several terrible reviews and heard from friends that the report was not good. We didn’t listen and that was a very unfortunate mistake. Make a better choice. Go elsewhere!!

Massive Hotel

We only stayed 1 night at this hotel, as our flight was canceled and we needed an extra night, not too far from airport. Happy we were able to get in last minute. We had mixed feelings about hotel. The Pros: clean, beautiful, peacocks, hammocks, nice views and able to check out and get help in your own building. The Cons: Check in was very chaotic. (they sent us 3 different places for someone to check us in) and even then, since it was before 4 PM, we could not get a room and had to come back again to get the room and then they didn't program our keys, so had to find another person in our building to program our wristbands.They let you use the facilities while you wait for check in, but no towels if you wanted to use pool and no chairs to sit on. No shade over any of the chairs. Most of the drinks we got, we could not even drink, they were so bad and if you wanted a blended drink, you had to get into the pool to go to one of the pool bars. Figuring out which restaurant we could eat at for the night was difficult and there were long waits. Had to wait for buffet in morning as well and food and service was not friendly or good. Beach in this area is very small and not many chairs. The grounds are beautiful, but I don't think we will be back.

What failed to mentioned was that the 'Blue' wrist bands only limited us to a two or three restaurants and the buffet. The restaurants had the exact same food as the buffet. The food was under heated (cold) or the cold food would be warm. It looked like a cesspool of germs and food poisoning. The poolside chairs were filthy, and the aligning trees had garbage, cigarette butts, half eaten food, and empty bottles. There wasn't any staff by the pool to ensure safety or cleanliness. We didn't have bottles of water, let alone anything in our room for an all inclusive, so we had to keep asking the concierge for water. Only one concierge in my building spoke english. Overall I would never recommend this place to anyone. The bathroom taps were broken, we came home with an itchy rash around our ankles. The inside of the room had lawn furniture! When we checked in the hostess at the front completely interrogated us about how old we were (a couple in our 40's) and other personal pieces of information. We then find out that they weren't even part of the check in! I looked for earlier flights home. Terrible, terrible, terrible!

The hotel is lovely, but the food at both buffets was awful; the stations were empty in the morning and evening. Additionally, there were cockroaches in the kitchen and rooms. When I requested shampoo and towels, receiving them took about 30 minutes.

Place is terrible. Staff was rude and unhelpful. Rafael is the concierge manager and he was disgusting. His attitude and the way he shows he could care less about the people staying on the property is awful and he should be fired. Very combative and argumentative. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE WHAT SO EVER!!!! Rooms smelled like mold, food was disgusting, flies in the room due to The mold smell. I do not recommend anyone stay here. Hotel is terrible, the least you could do Is give good customer service but not even. It’s not all inclusive so don’t be fooled. It’s only all inclusive when you spend $450 each for a black band just to get mediocre restaurants. The only good thing at this property is the beach. Switched resorts immediately and ended my stay AMAZING with great customer service elsewhere. DO NOT BOOK!
