Block eight has ground-work in front of it; very quiet digger and generator and quite reasonable BUT it is a building site and the fencing which is right outside completely prevents any internet. It felt like a cheap motel. In my opinion the backwater feature is so large that most of the lower rooms have no outlook at all. I would certainly not be renting these rooms and expect a more than 2 star rating.

Great pre-cruise hotel spot

The check in process was great, room was surprisingly spacious and comfortable. The pool area is a little smaller than it appears online, but worked perfectly for our pre-cruise needs. Also used the shuttle to the port which was super quick and convenient.

I really enjoy my stay also the waitress Irene I think is her name. She was very attentive and knowledgeable. Food was knowledgeable and the food and drinks were delicious
