This location is a solid basic hotel. Very close to the airport, which is a plus. Do note, that there is horrendous traffic at rush hours from the airport into Cape Town, so this might not be where you want to be if you plan to join tours in town starting in the morning. It felt safe here, and the food options in house were better and less expensive than expected. Noise travels through the doors here easily so it was pretty loud at night.

The Lodge is convenient for flights and room clean and well stocked. Staff however had limited English which is poor at an International Airport and with English being a dominant language in South Africa. This resulted in incorrect communication being given and difficult meal ordering. No free shuttle to airport..you pay a private company. This wasn't explained on website.

My overnight at Road Lodge CT Airport.

Due to last minute flight changes I needed to stay over in CT. I had to make a late booking which went very smoothly. Well-received by friendly staff and good food in restaurant at very reasonable prices. Room more than adequate for an overnight stay.

We had settled in our room when someone just entered. The front desk had issued them with key access to our room. All the manager could do was apologise. We went out for an hour and we found ourselves locked out of our room on return. I demanded a full refund from the Manager who claimed she couldn’t do anything as I’d booked through Expedia. Well that’s the last time I’ll use either again.

The airport was fine….. Just be aware that the traffic out to the airport can change drastically!! It took us 2hrs from town to the airport yesterday afternoon 😵‍💫

Ok but no lift

It was fine for an early flight location the next day..... but there is no lift in the Hotel so you need to either get help with your big suitcases or do it yourself if not on ground floor
