Requested more sachet milk and biscuits room took 3 hours and 4 phone calls for them to eventually bring it . And also gave us fresh milk and left outside of the for people to contaminate it which is not what we asked for anyway. Terrible service . Also asked for a birthday complimentary treatment room on 10th July prior to stay and they did not provide.

A lovely environment. Was greeted happily and efficiently upon arrival. The room was clean, spacious and well presented. The bed was comfortable and bathroom was faultless. As it was very warm on our stay we tried to use the A/C. It worked for around 5 minutes before turning itself off. I can’t sleep properly when I’m too warm so woke up several times through the night to reset the A/C. The lowest temperature was set at 18 degrees yet it turned itself off at around 25 which is far too warm for me to be comfortable. I followed the instructions on the wall yet to no avail. We ate in The Grill Dinner, the golf clubhouse on the complex. The staff were brilliant, especially Mihail. I did have some feedback regarding the meal and felt the staff dealt with it admirably. The tables were sticky too which is down to the product of cleaner they use. For an establishment which is on the hotel grounds and used by the hotels guests I expected a little more elegance. There is a wonderful service that taxis the guests from the hotel to the clubhouse and back which I felt went above and beyond. Would I stay here again? Absolutely 👍

Actually a lovely hotel. Far nicer inside than the view you see from the M4 - which is more Colditz-esque! All staff were great - shout out to Nikki and Davina on check-in. The one issue was that my aircon didn't work so ended up moving rooms just before midnight. Apparently it was a known issue - if so not sure why I was given that room?! Anyway, sorted with polite professionalism. Would def stay here again, especially given it was cheaper than both the nearby Premier Inn and Travelodge!

I feel the Celtic needs a bit of freshening up. I noticed wallpaper peeling along one corridor. But this is a little thing. Nothing major at all. Love staying here. I felt a bit uncomfortable wearing leggings and a shirt in the swim pool ( but I'm self conscious and could be the other ppl at the time) but I still enjoyed and made use of the sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. So I was happy 😁

Room service let down and otherwise fantastic hote

It was our first visit to the hotel and we were very impressed with the layout and design of the building and its setting. Check-in was superb and we are delighted with our room and the view from the 10th floor over the golf course. However, unfortunately a hotel was very significantly let down by the quality of room service. we ordered three separate orders during our stay and each one was incorrect. When we try to contact room service on the telephone they were unavailable for long period of time and did not answer. They got drinks wrong and then sent food to the wrong room and then brought us our final order at 1 o’clock in the morning when we ordered at 11 and we were asleep. This is very disappointing because otherwise the hotel is a superb one but I’m not sure that I would return or recommend it to friends or family.

The room was spotless, and overall a lovely hotel. On check in we asked for breakfast the following morning and was told payment would be taken from the card we had provided. However, when we got to the restaurant we were told they had no record of us booking and would need to pay the on the day price of £21.50 each. Got that down to the arranged price of £16.50. On check out reception wanted to charge me again for breakfast. I did get it sorted satisfactorily but there should have been better communication.

We stayed on the signature floor. Hadnt booked breakfast but decided to. Told it was £16 each so £32 in total. When we went for breakfast £47!!!! Wta we went with it, expected bit of luxury. Scrambled egg looked like slop, bacon just not nice, beans cold, sausage cold. Choice there was good but no way near £47 or even £32 disgusting prices. Wasnt given another option to eat breakfast else where. We had a meal at The Grill, outstanding service, excellent food absolutely delicious. Highly recommend this restaurant 👌
