If you are staying in Charleston, you should think of the IHG Mount Pleasant as a convenient option to the $300-$400 per night hotels in the historical district or french quarter. A 10-minute, $10 Lyft/Uber ride away, you can enjoy Charleston for half or even less than half the price. The staff is great (very hospitable) and the food is ok for hotel food. My flight was delayed and I holed up in the resteraunt for a few hours before catching a later flight. The staff took care of me while I worked, sitting me next to a plug to keep my laptop plugged in and my diet coke flowing. they were sweet in how they took care of me. Five Stars!

We spent only one night at the Hotel Indigo, but the friendly staff and luxurious setting just minutes from the heart of Charleston will have us returning. Our room was clean and spacious. The restaurant and bar were excellent. The multiple pools outside were lovely. Perfect place to stay when visiting this fun city.
