First, let me say the beds seemed weird at first but they were extremely comfortable. Close to Disneyworld level comfort! Now, we reserved 2 rooms, and they were clearly not equal. It seemed as though one of the rooms was not ready. The bathroom looked like it had not been swept/mopped in months. The smoke detector was hanging off the wall. And there was a large white stain (vomit? semen? who knows) going down the bed skirt onto the floor. The bed was made, so the housekeeper had to have seen the stains. I chose this hotel for the proximity to the mall and the hot tub and of course, the hot tub was out of order. This will definitely be the last time we stay at a La Quinta.

This stay was not what I expected at all. I had paid through a third party and when I went to check in, there were complications and I ended up having to cancel and rebook, causing us to get a smaller room because we couldn’t get our original room. When we got to said room there was no heat on. It was absolutely freezing in the room with an awful draft from the window and ac unit. The door knob literally fell off when opening the conjoined room door. We went downstairs to go swimming and the hot tub was broken but the pool was decently warm. When we got out and went back up to the room to shower, there was no hot water. They told us the boilers were broken and it wouldn’t be fixed until Monday, the day after we check out. There was no compensation for there being no hot water. I will never stay here again.

I believe it’s a miscommunication with staff, one person told me I would get a receipt in the morning and when I went to check out that individual told me that I could not get a receipt and it will also take seven to a month to get my deposit back. I have never heard of anything like that before Another issue I had was the stains on sheets instead of complaining. I took it upon myself to just go downstairs and ask them for another sheet and I just changed the bed myself. Another issue was water was not hot enough in one room so they just changed my room
