Yövy yhdessä Big Bearin laakson ainutlaatuisimmissa paikoissa. Kaunis vuoristomökimme on vastapäätä kadun toisella puolella Big Bear Lake -rannan rantaa ja on takana vuorelle valtavasta San Bernardinon kansallismetsästä. Jos haluat päästä eroon kaupungin stressistä, se ei parane paljon paremmin kuin "Alpine Lake Cabin".

Koti on kaksi makuuhuonetta, yksi kylpy, jossa riittävästi majoitusta jopa kuudelle vieraalle ja parkkipaikka kahdelle ajoneuvolle. Siinä on täysin varustettu keittiö, puulämmitteinen takka, satelliitti-tv, puuhiili-BBQ ja henkeäsalpaavat näkymät useimmista matkustamon huoneista. Yhdessä makuuhuoneessa on queen-vuode, toisessa makuuhuoneessa on kaksi erillistä vuodetta sekä vuodesohva olohuoneessa.

Suosittelemme tätä mökkiä luonnonharrastajille, pienille perheen retriiteille ja yksityisten pariskuntien lomille. Mökki rakennettiin vuoren yläpuolelle korotetussa paikassa, jotta maksimoidaan kauniit näkymät järvelle. Tämän vuoksi portaissa on yli 25 askelmaa ajotieltä etuovelta.

K: Mihin aikaan sisään- ja uloskirjautuminen on?
V: Sisäänkirjautumisaika on viisitoista ja uloskirjautumisaika on klo 10. Joulu- ja uudenvuoden lomien aikana sisäänkirjautuminen tapahtuu klo 16.00 korkean kysynnän vuoksi.

K: Onko lemmikkieläimiä sallittu?
V: Lemmikkieläimet eivät ole sallittuja.

K: Onko tämä kaksikerroksinen mökki?
V: Mökki on vain yksi taso. Listakuvauksissamme on saatavana pohjapiirros. Se, mikä kuvissa näyttää olevan pohjakerros, on oikeastaan vain pieni varastotila. Vierailla ei ole pääsyä tähän huoneeseen.

K: toimitetaanko liinavaatteet ja pyyhkeet?
A: Kyllä. Lakanat ja pyyhkeet ovat tarpeeksi 6 vieraalle.

K: Tarvitsenko ketjuja? Tuleeko lunta oleskeluni aikana?
V: Kanna aina ketjuja autossasi, jos matkasi tapahtuu marraskuusta huhtikuuhun. Vieraamme voivat tarkistaa sää- ja tieolosuhteet reaaliajassa napsauttamalla vahvistusviestin linkkejä. Emme voi tarkasti ennustaa, milloin on lunta.

K: Onko polttopuut toimitettu?
V: Emme tarjoa polttopuita. Polttopuut löytyvät helposti kaupasta ympäri ruokakauppoja, lähikauppoja tai polttopuuliikkeitä.
Tämä mökki sijaitsee vain lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä kohteesta Big Bear Lake. Mökissä tarjoaa asiakkaiden käyttöön muun muassa ilmaisen Wi-Fi-yhteyden ja keittiön.

The view was perfect. The property was dated but we enjoyed the balcony and view so much it didn't matter. I did cook dinner one night, again dated kitchen utensils but they had everything I could possibly need to make anything. Town was just a couple minute drive, lots to do.

Great place right near the lake, cozy cabin perfect size for my Family of 4. The host were very friendly and attentive throughout our stay, they even let us check in early, which we greatly appreciated. we will definitely be coming back to the spot hopefully in the winter specially because it’s no more than a 10 minute drive from the town. Away from it all

This is my second time staying at this location, first time during the summer. It's on the opposite side of all the hustle & bustle. Being able to walk across the street and touch the water this time (last time was winter). The kids had the best time and just a short drive to easier hikes as well as the Alpine Slides. I would definitely recommend, great spot.

Perfect Last Min Trip

We very much enjoyed our stay. We've never stayed on this side of the lake and not regret it. The place itself was just perfect for our family. Right across from the water with amazing views from the huge deck. They were very accommodating hosts, would absolutely book here in the future.

Absolutely Horrible Stay – Avoid at All Costs!If I could give this place ZERO stars, I would! This was by far the worst cabin I have ever stayed in. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the listing was completely misleading.First, the place was filthy—dust everywhere, stains on the furniture, and a horrible musty smell that never went away. The floors felt like they hadn’t been cleaned in months, and the bathroom was disgusting. We even found hair in the shower and sink, which was beyond gross.Second, the cabin was falling apart. The heater barely worked, leaving us freezing at night, and the water pressure was terrible—sometimes the hot water didn’t even work! The beds were rock hard and uncomfortable, making it impossible to get a decent night’s sleep. Not to mention, the walls were so thin that we could hear every single noise from outside and the neighboring cabins.On top of that, the customer service was awful. We tried contacting the host about these issues, but they either ignored us or took forever to respond. When they finally did, they were completely unhelpful and rude.Oh, and don’t even get me started on the false advertising. The photos made it look cozy and modern, but in reality, it was outdated, dirty, and barely livable. They also claimed there was Wi-Fi, but the signal was so weak it was useless.Overall, this was a nightmare of a stay, and I

We absolutely loved staying at this home. It was so peaceful and comfortable. We brought our own outdoor chairs which worked out amazingly because we spent most of our time outside on the beautiful deck. The heater worked well and we were impressed with how many extra blankets were available. Definitely want to go back to this quaint little home.

We spent most of our time out on the deck watching the sunrise, eating meals and just enjoying the view. Lovely cabin that had everything we needed. We got to bbq the first night and I was able to cook homemade Lasagna the next night. I hope to start again soon.

Beautiful location with a stunning view of the lake and sunrise. In the peak of summer, it was a bit hot in the cabin at night (no A/C), but we managed with the many fans provided by the owners. Zero complaints. Highly recommend.

The property was disappointing. The host doesn't mention the long flight of staircase to get to the cabin which is very inconvenient. The interior of the cabin is very old and not enough heating so it's very cold in the rooms. I don't recommend this place if you have children. I give this property under average at best.

Cozy cabin

We loved this cabin overlooking Big Bear lake. The view was the best part for sure! The place was very clean, and though it is cold outside this time of year, the cabin has plenty of heaters and blankets. The lack of wifi / internet access was kind of buried in the listing so take note (we thought we read the listing thoroughly but somehow we missed that!) and the cell service isn’t great either, so if you need to do work or any video calls, this is a place best suited to someone who plans to completely unplug. Fortunately we downloaded a bunch of movies before we came to the cabin, since we could not stream any movies (there aren’t many playable DVDs.) The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, dishes and utensils, but there was no cooking oil or salt and not much coffee, and the nearest grocery store is about 30 minutes away (there are some small markets and liquor stores about 10 mins away). So plan accordingly! Other than that the place was lovely, we really enjoyed using the fireplace and walking to a nearby fishing area. Would stay here again!

This is a great location with a stunning view of the lake. The best part of the house is a huge balcony looking onto the lake. Extremely clean and the host was very responsive. FYI - Apple Maps tells you it’s on the opposite side of the road.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced

The cabin is old but too be expected based on the listing photos. Check-in was standard as with any other VRBO. however the minute we walked in the house there were several oil diffusers in the house making a very strong smell. We ended up moving all of them outside and then understood why. The cabin smelled musty after we moved the diffusers. That wasn’t a deal breaker but it was not pleasant. The deal breaker is when we were washing dishes after putting out kids to bed the first night (4 month old and 2 year old). I walked by the water heater closet and smelt something like unburnt gas or very poor ventilation. I opened the closet to see if there was a problem and the amount of fumes that came out made me cough. We thought there might be a gas leak of some sort so we texted the overnight emergency number. We were told to leave the cabin, this is was about 11 at night and they were going to call the gas company to come check on the residence. At this point, I made the decision to pack my family up and drive home as we were not comfortable staying in the cabin, it was high 30 degrees outside and I wasn’t going to keep my family waiting in the car until a gas company technician arrived. No ETA was given by the emergency contact and it’s fair to say it would be hours until someone arrived. After returning home, I contact VRBO and requested a refund based the circumstances and they denied my refund.

This is an absolutely gem of a cabin. For a true cabin feel in big bear, STAY HERE. everything is clean, well thought out, tiny details thought of. The view is STUNNING. Woke up to catch the sunrise both mornings, saw a juvenile bald eagle gliding over the lake. Beautiful views of the night stars. The deck is the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee or tea. Close enough to everything to not feel like it’s a journey, far enough to be able to enjoy the serene peacefulness of Big Bear Lake. WILL be staying here again!
