Everything was what we hoped for! The staff was so above and beyond and the restaurant was delicious. They always called a taxi for us, the room was very modern and had charger ports in walls, plenty of towels, everything you could hope for it did We explored Florence and Tuscany while here and weren’t able to take advantage of the spa amenities so we can’t comment on that.

Nice property. Decent room, but pay attention to room choice. My room, a suite, only had one small window overlooking the river. Some of the staff members are fantastic and others not. While marketed as a 5 star hotel, it is a mid 4 star hotel. While it has parking, it can only accommodate a few cars and street parking is rough. I had some day trips to do so parking for a rental was important. Otherwise I would have stayed in town center.

I was excited to stay here for my birthday. I was disappointed the room we got with the jetted tub only had hot water and seem to have some issues. The river view was nice but had construction as my view. We had so many mosquitoes in our room, I left with several bites. There more bugs in the pool area so that also limited our time there. Additionally the staff was hit and miss. The bartender was not friendly and poor customer service. And the front desk, Lorenzo was extremely rude, dismissive and acted as he could not be bothered to answer questions or provide support. Not a place that felt hospitable. The indoor pool I looked forward to was only limited to one hour a day per day. And you had to reserve a time. Not worth the money to stay here.

Very clean and nice property. We mostly wanted to have good sleep at this point in our trip, and the hotel delivered with good blackout curtains and a quiet environment. It is too far to walk to the town center however so you must be prepared to either coordinate your itinerary with the hotel shuttle, or take cabs

The ultimate, decadent, romantic, hotel

We booked a suite for our honeymoon and we were not disappointed! The room was phenomenal, the spa was the ultimate way to relax after a day walking the streets of Florence, and the food was sublime. You will not regret your stay!
