This motel is worth $80.00 a night tops, not $250. The blinds were broke, numerous repairs needed,(chipped paint, worn out countertops, scratched floors, etc) sunlight shone through the door with a gap, insects found. Bad smell in room. Constant noise as they were doing construction right outside our balcony, also really noisy area at night with band blasting music. Stay elsewhere!

Liked the newly constructed first floor bungalow. Did not like the inability to use the pool area as it was overcrowded. Could have had a small table and chairs in addition to the plank with stools along the wall. Could not control the room temperature. Overall, great location, quiet and clean. Will stay again.

This was our first time visiting Fort Myers and it was only a one night stay so we cannot give much in the way of recommendations. The Lighthouse staff was very helpful and friendly and the resort offered or was close to everything we needed.

We stayed in the cottage across the street from the main property. This unit overlooks the canal and there is a small porch. The unit is on the 2nd floor which may be difficult for some people to navigate with luggage. There is a kitchen but the refrigerator did not make ice so you had to go to the Tiki Bar every time you needed ice which was not great. There was no phone in the unit so you had to rely on a cell phone to communicate with the hotel office. The area is still being rebuilt from previous storms so there is a lot of construction (which is nice to see) but there is A LOT of traffic around the area especially during the afternoon and evening. This property is close to the beach and also has plenty of dining options. Overall, our stay was fine but it could have been better. We did enjoy the Tiki Bar and spent time at the Margaritaville hotel by the fire pits.

This is not child friendly which wasn't obvious when I booked. No one said the bar on site can be heard in every room until 11 or later every night. You can't put a baby to bed with Sweet Carolina being blasted under feet or outside your door. It would be a great hotel for Spring Break or older people looking to drink, dance, have a good time etc.... But definitely not for kids. No child food options, Way too loud, no safe easy way to get to the beach, not a nice pool for kids/no wading pool etc...

Honestly would absolutely stay here again and look forward to doing so after renovations complete post Ian. We stayed Feb. '25 and are definitely looking forward to returning. As it was, great food, fun tiki bar with music, always hopping, nice warm heated pool, very nice rooms, ample free parking, 5 min walk to beach and square. Great casual homey vibe for beach vacation. Highly recommend
