Lovely check-in. Nice staff, you can have hot and cold drinks, fruit and cakes in reception. Helpful and friendly staff. Room big, just needs a thorough clean as dusty and shelves in bathroom dirty in places. Hotel a bit tired but overall good. Very good location straight opposite train station. Area around station not so good, red light district, lots of crime and drug taking. I don’t go out at night. Breakfast nice. WiFi good.

The hotel is located right across the street from the train station. The sheets and towels were clean, but everything else was super dusty. The hotel is old and has no AC.

Hotel Monopol is a beautiful hotel with lots of character. It's location is very convenient with how close it is to the main train station, but that also means there is train noise. The immediate area is a bit dingy as well. Our room was beautiful and spacious, with a nice bathroom and fans to keep it cool. It was generally clean, except for a few key spots that were missed. The breakfast was generous and tasty. Our only complaint is that the beds are not comfortable.

Habitacion Bien, Ubicacion no es adecuada

La habitación esta muy bien, amplia, silenciosa, solo que yo camino descalza y me parece que no barrian o aspiraban mucho la habitacion. Para el que no esta acostumbrado a viajar, y parar cerca de las estaciones, la zona es un poco fea. Para mi que voy y vengo en tren a otros sitios, es comoda. Solo que a la noche no se si es viable salir.

Hotel is great, area leaves a little to be desire.

Hotel was very clean, but in a rundown part of town near train station. Buffet breakfast was good with lots of variety. Room was quite large for Europe.

Great place to stay

The staff was absolutely wonderful. I was initially a little worried, booking a hotel by the Frankfurt trainstation and decided to choose it mainly for price and location. I'm so glad I did. The hotel is lovely, the rooms a nice and very clean and the staff absolutely wonderful. Attention to detail makes this hotel a little gem. Thank you

Although it's right across the street from the train station, the hotel is very quiet in the back wing. The rooms are minimal but perfectly sufficient. The staff was super nice, and the breakfast buffet a bargain. For an early train there's no better place. I stayed several nights and am very pleased with the stay.
