Great location. Staff at desk, housekeeping were great. Waiter at breakfast needs customer service training, he couldnt even say good morning, would often block food access and make us walk around. He was throwing food oit the window to the sea gulls and a young women was taking a photo, so he grabbed the gull by one wing, it went crazy, he grabbed the ither wing and bought the bird inside for a photo - so cruel. The rest of the staff were so nice, the waiter was unhelpful, as though he was too good to do a decent job.

We enjoyed our stay at Yilsam so very much. Staff is amazing and make you feel like family. They would help us with any inquiry we had. From food to tourism their assistance was great. Will definitely be returning to Yilsam the next time in Türkiye .

Highly recommend the ocean view room. Staff was very helpful with information and organizing out airport transfer. Fantastic location with lots of great restaurants and just a 10 min walk to many of the landmarks we wanted to see.

Nice hotel in the very heart of Sultanahmet. Driving and parking is a challenge. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Good breakfasts on a roof terrace with a beautiful view. Clean and comfy rooms. When booking through Expedia, excellent value for money. Walking distance to the main Sultanahmet attractions - The Blue Mosque, Agia Sofia, Basilica cistern and more. Good choice of restaurants and cafés.

Not my best experience

I stayed with my mum for three nights, only positive was the proximity to the main attractions. People at reception were nice, but our room was clearly not cleaned before our arrival, there was hair everywhere, including a bunch of hairs on the shower walls. It's outdated, which would've been fine as long as it was clean, but that was not the case. Breakfast is nothing like what you see on the pictures, I specifically wanted to have breakfast included and we had it only once, because it was not worth having it the rest of days, the only fruit available was apples (not sliced), dry pastries and bread, and when I requested to have some more tomatoes re filled 45 minutes before breakfast was supposed to finish, the lady refused to fill up the tray again. Pictures should be updated and show what you really offer for customers to avoid disappointment. Overall, not the nicest of my stays, but made us want to explore more outside instead of staying in the hotel.
