The grounds were wonderful: very well kept and green. The location is great: a few minute walk to Shipwreck and Poipu beach. The staff overall was meh. The ladies at the desk in the morning were nice. Most workers you see around “did not go out of their way” to say hi, a couple did. Construction was going on in February 2025 and if I had to guess, probably is going to go on for a bit. The buildings and rooms are out of date. I understand construction noise, but some of the workers were swearing up a storm so that was irritating - they knew we were right there too. The freezer door in our room was gross - lots of dirt smudges. I also booked an ocean view room and it was not a direct ocean view - it was far back with a house was being built on the beach and other of the same hotel’s buildings blocking most of our view. I felt that was somewhat dealing from the bottom of the deck. Pool is really nice and big. All in all, I have never felt more sure in giving a resort a 3.0 out of 5.0 star review. Free parking helps.

Great stay

Right next to the grand Hyatt and its beaches. A short walk to Poipu beach. Very nice pool and great service at the pool bar. Garden view was off the pool and 2 bedroom large space with well equipped kitchen. Very clean. A bit dated like most resorts on Kauai I will definitely stay here again.

Just a magnificent facility! Great location in Poipu beach area. I can’t say enough about how nice this property is. The amenities were fantastic and the room was just beautiful with everything you need including a fully stocked kitchen, living area and two bedrooms with huge bathrooms including tub and shower.

Sidewalks need repair on resort grounds.

All was great except their sidewalks need fixing. I was coming back from the pool and my walker got stuck and my walker stopped and i didn’t and i went over the top of the walker and fell…please fix it so that the next handicap person doesn’t fall like i did…

Expensive but not meeting value for cost. Old tired in need of massive upgrade. Room servicing just didn’t happen over 5 days but they came 1 day only in late afternoon after we returned from entire day out. Hear room above constantly. Loud aircon that was inefficient and woke us 5-6 times a night. Too hot to sleep with fan. Shower strength poor. 15 min extra to get soap off after waiting 10 min with shower on for any hot water. Lovely outlook though but long walk to beach. Half gym equipment not working. Won’t go back.
