Had an excellent time at this hotel! Spent 4 nights here and it was very close to all sorts of shopping and food options. Transportation was easily accessible and was very close to the Gion district as well. The staff was lovely and very accommodating, our room’s shower was absolutely incredible, and the onsen was fantastic. Our room wasn’t as clean as we would have liked (lots of dust caked around doorframes and on floor around bed), and the mattress was VERY stiff which others may or may not like depending on preference. Overall though, very happy we stayed here!
