The room was comfortable and clean with a recently upgraded bathroom. We did not have breakfast as we had an early start. The staff were very helpful. The hotel was good for the price range and its star rating. I have seen poor reviews for this hotel and I do not understand why this should be as it was certainly not our experience.

While the room was basic it was very clean, the great cost and great location more than made up for big hotel amenities. Steps away from Kings Cross this was a great choice after my Eurostar plans changed at the last minute.

Toilet room smelled of faint sewage but was persistent. In morning discovered no hot water at sink or in shower. Had to navigate stairs to get to lift and to get to room from lift. Loud neighborhood but that was expected. Positives: Room was clean. Necessary amenities. Staff were kind.

Basic hotel but in the heart of everything right opposite Kinkgs cross station food shop bars pubs easy access to main central and very cost effective I highly recommended staying here. Just know they will charge you £100 deposit when you arrive which you won’t get back for 3-5 working days

The location is really convenient, many amenities around and very walking distance to any public transportation. The bed is terrible, old and thin and the springs poking while sleeping. Couldn't get a good sleep during the stay. The room is very small, bathroom door can't be opened all the way, stuck with the bed. The only stool in the room is worn. The double door to the room from the aisle is too tight to bring luggages into the room.

The room was facing onto Kings Cross but the internal window could not be fully shut due to brackets in place. This meant that I could not sleep all night due the noise of the traffic etc outside. Worst nights sleep I’ve had staying around Kings Cross (as in no sleep). Staff were friendly and was able to check in at 10.30 which was great but not being able to sleep all night was not great.

Room was a little tricky to find in hotel as located up & down stairs which was a little confusing. Bed kept moving away from wall as was on wheels & the filth under the bed was somewhat in need of a hoover. Bathroom was a wet room & I only just fitted under the shower head & in 5’3” so anyone tall would have to kneel. Staff were friendly the negatives could soon be corrected.
