Fantastic little boutique hotel in a nice quiet street. Within perfect walking distance of all the major landmarks. A perfect price from Expedia made for a great weekend away in London!

We were moved to a different hotel when we went to check in
Supposedly a deluxe family room which was very small for more than two people and only had one bed and a sofa
Would’ve been nice to have known about the move, prior to turning up
Fortunately we were able to walk to the other hotel which was down the road and round a corner, but would have been a different dilemma if we were wheelchair bound or lugging large, heavy suitcases and restricted for time
Communication- is a must. Especially when we received an email from the hotel asking for phone numbers and email address

Was clean but bit noisy i could hear trains, planes and people flushing.

So wasnt the best night sleep
Catfish photos - Photos don’t show that you are 2 levels down with no window (just a sky light above). Also, there is barely enough room to open two carry-ons, so I cannot imagine the pain of staying with bigger luggage. As these were things we didn’t really care much about, we would’ve had a great stay, but the cleaning staff threw out a whole bag of our toiletries for no reason, and have yet to reimburse us. Clean, and a nice area though.
Good hotel close to Victoria train station. Recently renovated. Room very tight for 2 people with luggage. Clean. Modern. Helpful staff

Disorganised and Poorly Run!
Arrived at the hotel at 3:30pm to be told the hotel was fully booked and the only room they had available was a single when I paid for a superior double room 4 weeks in advance! Then we're told they have a double room but was not ready yet when the email told us we could check in a 2pm. The guests in front of us also were unhappy as they discovered there were guests already in the room when they checked in. Disorganised and poorly run are the words I'd use. (I would like to point out that Jeffrey working front of house was nice and really tried to get the situation resolved).
We ended up getting a double standard room which we settled for as we needed to stay in the area for a marathon. Obviously still upset as we paid extra for the superior room. I was told the hotel would reach out by Monday 7th April to discuss my compensation but have yet to receive this.
The room we got was very tiny and compact but comfort was still okay. As long as check in doesnt get messed up I'd recommend.
The hotel in question cancelled our booking at 8pm the day we were due to check and moved us to 'Mornington Hotel London Victor Belgravia'. I was then told, despite being moved to a whole new hotel, I could not get a refund. We then went to the Mornington Victoria and was asked to present a physical card for a 'security deposit'. I then asked what the deposit was for, of which the reply was ' a deposit for the security'. That didn't clarify a lot... It was obviously a newly refburshed, modern hotel. The rooms were very well decorated with a large bed and TV. However, I don't know how it's possible to be a modern hotel and NOT HAVE A MATRESS PROTECTOR. The mattress had a 4 inch think layer of yellow foam lay on top and the mattress itself was severely stained. Not having a mattress protector is disgusting and put a shadow over the whole trip. Would love to come back as we're regularly in London but feel worried staying in a hotel that doesn't use mattress protectors as standard.
The room was tiny and was not the cleanest the hotel had no lift so you had to walk about 30 steps to the room on the 3rd floor.
The bathroom was not clean and the bedroom had splashes on the walls.
First room we were given was not made up, not cleaned from previous guest, second room was so small u couldn't even get your coat off without hitting the wall, not big enough for 2 people, didnt end ip staying as was so bad
1 - I went to the address I booked the hotel just to get there and be send to another address
2 - Despite telling the reception that part of the curtain could not be closed, nothing was done. The bedroom got light in the morning which I do not like or desire
3 - On the first day my shower was COLD - there was no hot water.
4- The mattress topper is bigger than the mattress and I keep sliding
5 - in my booking I was told the room was sound proof but it definitely was not. I could hear all the noise from the noise from the hotel and from the street.
5 - I booked a superior room but, in my opinion, that room is not a superior room and there was hardly any space for 2 small luggages and hardly any space to hang clothes.
All in all not a good experience and I will not be back in this hotel or recommend it.
