Yes, some rooms are in the basement…

When you book the standard room…don’t be surprised if your put in the basement. The room was similar to the above ground rooms….but after staying there for 5+ times, I was surprised that they had rooms in the basement

Amazing location - easy to walk to everything. Yet still quiet hotel. Staff were attentive and took care of all of our small issues - needing a fridge, extension cord, etc. I would definitely stay there again

There was a single functioning elevator serving 9 floors and it was like this for multiple days. At check out time I had to wait more than 15 minutes for an elevator that wasn't already packed with people from the floor above, so that I could get my luggage downstairs, almost making me late for my flight. The air conditioning units are so loud I couldn't sleep with it on. The breakfast buffet was awful for the price. Most of the staff I dealt with did not seem to want to be there. On the plus side, it is in a good location, the room was a decent size, and it was clean.

It wasn't in very good shape. It smelled funny. It wasn't super clean and the bedding could've been a lot better. However, the staff were awesome. The location couldn't have been more convenient for walking to the sites. Everything is within a 20 min. Walk. For the price of the hotel we just expected it to be cleaner.

Lovely hotel in an ideal location. Many major attractions were minutes away on foot. Underground station was very close by as well, which was convenient to get around the city easily. The hotel staff were super helpful and friendly. Helped us get oriented quickly when we checked in. Highly recommend.
