Great location, convenient and like the free parking. Room was small yet clean. Could hear traffic noise outdoors, but considering the value, just turn on white noise. A couple miles from the wharf. Uber there, leave the car to ensure parking spot.

Good hotel overall

My stay here at Baymont in Monterey Park was overall good the hotel room was very clean and nice as well as the lobby and hallways. One thing however, I did experience that I wasn’t to happy about was the night clerk at the front desk I wasn’t able to catch him name, but from the jump he was giving me attitude and claimed I didn’t have a hotel room booked even though I told him my name and called the hotel 3 times to confirm my stay for that day. Even when I showed him my receipt he still claimed I had no hotel room and they were completely booked so I had to go, but eventually he found my room and all was good so I do appreciate that I don’t appreciate the attitude and how insisted he was on the fact that I didn’t have a room booked already. I would definitely come again to stay the night just because of the service I received from the rest of the staff and how nice the hotel room was too.

Would like to give it a high rating. The room was clean, had large fridge and desk. Was quiet even though backed up to freeway. Only problem was no hot water in the morning. Evidently boilers went down. As long as that isn't a regular thing, this hotel was nice, affordable and convenient.

Horrible

They don’t tell you there is no parking if you have a truck. Under ground parking for cars only. Also no microwave in room. Breakfast was horrible and can hear everything between rooms.

Multilingual (Spanish and English) staff was super helpful in having all our needs met! The hotel itself looks a little bit old but the rooms were amazing! Plenty of parking available in the underground parking. Didn't like that you couldn't take breakfast up to your room, but I understand it's a matter of keeping the rooms clean. Also no microwaves in rooms so we had to go downstairs to reheat food from restaurants (not a deal-breaker though). Overall a great stay!
