Airport shuttle was easy to find on the way in but we had no service on the way out because it was already full when we tried to reserve it at check-in. We had to pay a taxi to the airport. Bad service, since one of the reasons we reserve this hotel was the free airport shuttle service.

Long line in the reception and only one counter was opened. The female staff was not kind when I asked if I can keep my luggage. And also the room key was resetted after one night. I had to go down to the reception when I came back to the hotel and wait the long line and reset the room keys again.

Great location for airport layover. Many empty buildings around, so was unsure of safety while out walking alone. Staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant had limited hours and limited offerings, so had to walk to other hotels nearby (within 10 blocks) to access food options. Airport shuttle was good, and was given a bagged lunch with the shuttle service. I would stay here again, though not if wanting to go into Madrid as this would require a taxi ride. The bus stops were not far, but too many bus transfers would be required for my own comfort.
