Nice Hotel in Great Location

We arrived early in the day and stored our luggage until 3pm for our room to be ready. It wasn't ready when we arrived back after check-in time, however, which was disappointing -- we waited in the lobby until they finished prepping it. The room itself contained a queen-sized bed and a queen-sized pull-out couch, which they'd already made into a bed for our child. The room was simple and clean. The location, just a few blocks from the central train station, was great for our stay in Munich. It didn't take long to walk into central Munich, either.

Stayed in this hotel Feb 14-17th. The whole stay was fantastic. Excellent location, close to the train station, very clean, comfortable bed and convenient amenities. The real gem of this hotel though is the staff. They were extremely friendly and helpful. Would absolutely stay here again.

If you like being claustrophobic this is the hotel for you. The rooms are tiny, there is no coffee in your room, and the shower is for little people. The pillows are not good and they do not have queen size beds. Do not take your kids to this area at night. The street is lined with strip bars, and shady characters. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was great. I just do not see how this hotel gets an 8 rating.

Great location (in the middle of Octoberfest and old town) in a busy city. The hotel was clean and nice. Parking was a bear, luckily the hotel had an agreement with a local garage for a discounted price. Didn’t enjoy the ‘Female dancing club’ right across the street, but felt safe. Enjoyed Munich.

We have no complaints about the hotel or the staff. The hotel is clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is fantastic. The only reason for not 5 stars is the neighborhood. It is very sketchy at night.

Spare room but clean. Beds were hard and unforgiving. Nice, helpful staff; good breakfast. Long but easy walk to Glockenspiel, Viktuellenmarkt. In a noisy, Middle Eastern area but didn’t feel unsafe walking in the evening. A woman alone should not be walking in this area at night. Close to the HBf!

Lovely hotel, great staff and really accessible for the central station and other transport links. The area in which the hotel is located is livelier than I expected and very active in an adult way… not really a problem but a surprise if you’re looking for somewhere more genteel.

We had three rooms here in August. We arrived early from a flight from the US and they made one room available so we could store our bags. The staff was good, the rooms were nice. My room was on the main street but it was quiet. The breakfast was good . Close to main train station. All in all a good choice, would definitely go back again. The area around the train station is a bit seedy, but we had no problems and the area seemed safe.
