The location was great-right on the beach. The unit was large, with a full kitchen, a king bed, Murphy bed, and sofa bed. It could use some updating and smelled a little funny. We didn’t know this was a condo property, and noted they provide clean towels and empty the trash daily. No clean towels came, so we requested clean towels-3x, and waited hours. I finally went to the front desk to get some myself. I asked for a wake up call, which never came. The two extra beds (couch and Murphy bed) didn’t have blankets, but we found one sheet smushed into the couch. I didn’t want to call again, so we just slept without any blankets. But, the pool had some entertainment, and the food was reasonably priced. There was only one man working both the food and bar. He did a great job, but definitely needed some help. We’d probably look for somewhere else to stay next time, but overall it was ok.

They were renovating during our stay which we were aware of so it didn't bother us. The room was excellent with many updated appliances, furnishings and decorations. The unloading area was crowded but we found a space to unload. The check in desk was across the street but having the handicap parking on the first level in the parking garage was nice. They didn't have an arcade available during our stay which was disappointing as that's our go to after dark entertainment. Overall it's a beautiful hotel and we will come back.

There were roaches at night crawling around the kitchen/bathroom area. The room my family & I were assigned smelled like mildew and felt moist and uncomfortable for the duration of our stay. Our room was the only room that I could tell that was still carpeted and the carpet felt disgusting. I would not stay at this property again.

Terrible stay. Double queen room with partial ocean view was awful. Not at the main location but a small 3 story building. We had to park across the street and carry our luggage across the street. Our partial ocean view was a balcony facing a parking lot. The a/c was so loud and ran constantly. The bathroom door hit the toilet and the shower- so small. The deadbolt on the door was useless because they carved out the doorframe. We could open the door with the deadbolt locked. The bed was extremely firm but the pillows were nice.

Other than a couple of hot tubs there's not a heated pool. Just very cool and windy for the pool not to be heated for us older folks. And the hot tubs were full of kids. It is a nice hotel though and the staff was all very friendly.

The newly renovated room was very comfortable. Although it was just my husband and myself, the room was spacious - it could have accommodated 4 small bodies on the murphy bed and pull out couch - which would have been a super plus back in the days when our now grown children were young. It had a full kitchen to accommodate budgetary needs. I'm picky about beds and while we travel a lot, it is usually the biggest problem for me......not this bed. It was comfortable.

Location and front desk were great! Having the Sea Capt. House was a plus. Would like to have had beach access for beach wagons and strollers, they only had stairs. Our condo was lacking pots, pans and dish towels but the front desk immediately corrected. We would havw no problem staying there again.
