We send an email that we would be arriving late from Virginia. We came down to fish. The wind was rolling with 35 mph gusts. Still, we fished. It wasn't the Ritz, but it was cozy. We will definity check here for rooms first.

Property was run down,nothing worked, a/c was rattling making awful racket. The ice machine was broke so I had to go buy some. Could not save any because the refrigerator and freezer in the room did not work. Can’t forget about all the bugs in the room. Needles to say we stayed one night although we paid for three! Worst hotel we have ever been at!

Hotel is very outdated. The room amenities advertised when we booked were not in the room that we got on arrival. The manager and I agreed that I booked the “same” room but that the room did not come with what was offered in the description despite having a screenshot of my booking.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Colonial Inn Motel ! We don't need a fancy facility with bells and whistles, just a place that's clean and meets our needs. Colonial does that and still adds more. There is a lot of character and memories through the years of its" older style. Yet it is kept clean and functional for families to continue to enjoy and make memories. It's a plus that it is right in the beach with a pier next to it as well. We will definitely return. Thanks Colonial Inn !
