Everything was excellent! Even a minor issue like our door not opening properly was quickly and pleasantly handled. Beds were comfy, not too much noise, very clean, nice shower. 10/10 would stay again!

The flaws here are not the hotel’s fault exactly. We were in a ground floor room & the NOISE at night from neighboring business/club/restaurant was incessant. If we were not New Yorkers used to nightly chaos we would not have slept a wink from the ntts ntts ntts of the pounding bass. Thats the biggest headline. The rooms, linens & staff are fantastic. There is no room service but you’re on restaurant row so as cheesy as that can be there is also truly great food. The breakfast is very “mid level European hotel” - yogurt, toast, coffee, fruit; no complaints. The location is A LOT but if you wanna be in the epicenter of NYC tourism, it’s great & is the boutique alternative to the cheesy corporate chains.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Scherman. The room was even more beautiful than we expected and we slept great every night in the extremely comfortable bed. Our windows even opened out onto a small balcony with a chair and table. There is also a rooftop terrace for all guests to use that is stunning and the perfect place to unwind in the evening. The whole building is so nicely done and in the perfect location on restaurant row. We were close to all the Broadway shows and walking distance to all the major sites including Times Square and Central Park. There was a subway station just a few blocks away that made it easy to get to and from the airport and anywhere else we wanted to go. Breakfast every morning was delicious and the staff was so kind and friendly. We loved everything about our stay and would definitely stay here again. Don’t hesitate to book your stay here!

Very cute boutique type hotel. Rooftop terrace was amazing. Staff was super friendly and very accommodating. Greatly helped out my 80-year-old mother. Location was super convenient. Continental breakfast is a bonus. Very cute bar next door. Very happy for the value. We'll look to stay here again!

We loved everything about this cozy hotel. Since we had two teenagers traveling with us, we booked a 2BR suite. It was so convenient to have two bathrooms, and the common sitting area in our suite was useful as well. We didn't have much of a chance to use the balcony or the roof top seating area but both were lovely with comfortable seating. The location of the hotel is perfect for us, and the continental breakfast was truly delightful. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful, and we will absolutely return. Even our teens were impressed!

This hotel was excellent. Very clean and quiet rooms, the entire hotel smells nice as well. Attentive staff, lovely dining areas within the property, close to many great restaurants and bars. We plan to stay here again.

Hotel Scherman was everything it is advertised as! The staff were great and accommodating. We originally stayed in a townhouse room for the first night but after I hurt my toe (not at the hotel) they were great about moving our room to the main building so I didn’t have to navigate the narrow stairs in the townhouse. We had a rainy day but the hotel had many umbrellas available for guests to use, which was super convenient. It was close to the subway system, Times Square and all of the major theaters. When we return to NYC, we will look to stay at Hotel Scherman again!

If i could give more than five stars I would. This hotel was fabulous. You are close to all the restaurants, Transportation. The staff could not be warmer and this hotel is going to be our Go To place when we come to New York. As a matter of fact, I am already planning my next trip.
