Upon checking in after a four hour delayed flight. I was instructed by the front desk agent, at 2am to walk across the street to the Marriott for change, as I was paying cash for my stay. May I also add that, several days prior to my arrival, I called the front desk informing them that I would be paying cash for my stay. I was informed that the hotel did indeed accept cash, therefore I was unclear as to why upon my 2am arrival, I was informed the hotel didn't accept cash payments. This was the reasoning behind having to walk across the street to get change.
The phones were down, the Wi-Fi was down, mirror in the bedroom had streaks, the air conditioner had hair on it, which I found to be gross. The night stand outlets were not working, which I did not realize until the next day. Lastly the room had a table ironing board, yet no table, which made it extremely difficult to iron my dress for the theatre. I have traveled all across the world, Paris even had a regular sized ironing board. The Voco New York Times Square must do better.
