I think I chose this property at a high demand time because the price was quadrupled. That being said, I was satisfied with the majority of my stay. The few issues were the pillow case that was fluffed and propped against the headboard still had makeup and hair on it from the previous guest. After a call to the front desk, a complete set of bed linen and blankets were immediately brought to the room. The other thing was the extra small cramped bathroom with no counter space and no where to put clean clothes or towels. I know things are smaller in NY but if you’re cluster-phobic this tiny space will be problematic. What I liked most were the location. Everything was within a few minutes walk. And the staff were very helpful and friendly.

Location was perfect. Close to subway and close to Time Square. In room airco did not functioned well. And made a lot of noise. The smoke detector had a peep during the night. The waterpressure in the shower was very low.

The property has no parking, unlike most hotels that have valet at the door, you have to park your car two blocks down and walk back. Also, the bed sheets are old and done even have tears in them. The sofa bed was so old, we had to put the sofa cushions underneath it.

I really liked that they were located within walking distance to the Broadway theater district. Staff were respectful and friendly and the breakfast was fantastic with lots of variety. The only drawback was the slow elevators. With so many floors, it was hard to get on the elevators to leave because they were all full. But, the rooms were spacious and clean. The positives outweighed the elevator issues so I would comeback again. In fact, it was the consistency of service of Hyatt Places from staying at other locations (eg. Hyatt Place Downtown Denver) that made me choose it in New York. It’s economical while providing a quality experience.
