Multiple people were smoking (weed/cigarettes)on the pool deck making it unusable for my asthmatic husband. No towels on the pool deck were available. Chairs were gross and uncomfortable. In our room the AC was on the other side of the wall not letting much air to where the bed was. Bed was awful, there were multiple things leftover from the previous people including deodorant and clumps of hair on the floor. Room was dirty. We also indulged in their cafe and got burnt cardboard pizza, overcooked wings, and a dry flat bread. Will definitely not be coming back or recommending.

Another stay at the Avanti. Would I stay here again? Possibly not. Feels like it’s a bit tired even though fairly recently updated. Bed was not very comfortable and judging by noise every time my husband rolled over, was probably broken. Safe batteries were held in by tape and on last morning fell out so we couldn’t open safe. Had to wait well over a hour for someone to arrive to open it for us. The location and pool area is what keeps us coming back here.

When I travel I like to feel at home away from home. I did not get that here at this resort. The lobby was clean and it actually smelled good. My room was the worst experience although it was clean it has that outdated smell, the bathroom is really small you can barley move around. The tub had a crack right in the middle of it to the point if I continue to step there it would have harmed me. The AC in the room was not working properly it felt like i was actually standing out side in the sun when I went to use the phone to call front desk the phone did not even work. I used my cell phone to reach out to the front desk and no one never answered that phone. I ended up checking out early because it was just too much going wrong. The only highlight of this resort was the fitness center, the pool was nice and the outside bar.

Location, pool.

Been coming here for over 30 years. Hotel changed name several times since then. We come because of the good location and the pool, thats is their big selling point I believe. Everything else is pretty decent.
