Everything you need

Stayed there while joining our adult son and wife who were looking nearby for relocation. Very close to Disney, but other neighborhoods too. Very large 2 bedroom unit gave us lots of space. We stayed in an older building (no elevator or hallway). Buildings seem to be of mixed age based on development style.

A place to sit back and relax

This was our second time staying at Silver Lake, my wife and I both were very satisfied with our stay. We had an issue with the mattress in our room, brought this to the attention of the front desk and within 45 minutes; two workers arrived as we were walking out with a replacement. The resort is very clean, the staff is very friendly, and there are many places to eat within the area; all that's left is for you to do is sit back and relax.

The pool area was great! The pool cabana was excellent, the food, especially the coconut shrimp was wonderful! When the food was ready, he delivered to your loungers,, no charge, best prices and food we had all weekend!

The walls were paper thin and we could hear the guests on the other side talking/arguing/snoring all night. Not all of the rooms are renovated so you have a chance of getting a room that’s outdated.

I was actually pleasantly surprised. I got this property for a steal, and it was worth it. I enjoyed the amenities, closeness to Disney World/Disney Springs and Orlando. It was minutes from all of that. Overall the stay was nice. I was there for 5 nights. Only thing I was confused by was that the room was never tidyed up by staff, no towels refreshed over the 5 nights stay. They do have beach towels you "rent", just give them your name, and return at end of stay or refresh thru the week/after use.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. The Villa room was fantastic. Great lay out with a ton of space. Kitchen was well organized and efficient.

Staff was average, not accommodating for a special needs child. No notes in the reservation, no allowance for at least a one hour early check in. Buildings, where we were placed were dated. Ice machine looked like an abandoned building and the elevators were horrific. Better accommodations should be offered if you want someone to consider the time share option. Pool was nice, as was the movie theater.
