The property itself was clean, convenient location but a little hard to find if you don't know where it is. Purchased an upgraded room but did not receive. Payment was put on my credit card even after I told them I would be paying in cash. Reserve now pay later. Hotel is in the flight path of Morristown Airport so a little noisy unless you don't mind a plane taking off every 4 minutes.

The hotel itself was very nice. Our linens were clean and the bed was comfortable. Unfortunately, there was a very distinct odor in the hallways, it smelled like an alpaca.

Friendly staff almost make up for other concerns

Staff were very friendly. The pre-stay continental breakfast option (at time of booking) is very misleading though. Breakfast food options were very limited and it would have cost less than half to just pay on site vs at time of booking. The rooms were dated and slightly run down. And we had a fire alarm go off at 4:15am for 40 minutes with no actual physical threats, explanations or apologies. This was below what we came to expect from many stays at other Sonesta properties.

The hotel is in a convenient location, close to major highways. Clean & quiet, perfect for a couple's getaway. There is also a pretty courtyard perfect for enjoying the nice weather. Breakfast is available to purchase, but not free. There is a Dunkin Donuts less than 10 minutes away.
