Very nice hotel with nice rooms only reason for the bad review is due to the noise. The hotel doesn’t seem to have any soundproofing and the noise from the doors slamming and people shouting at all hours is not the best when you’re trying to sleep.

The lift arrangement is unusual & could be difficult if you have mobility issues. However the room & facilities were excellent, I cannot stress how lovely the room & bathroom was. Location is perfect, very walkable to lots of dining options

A Perfect Stay in the Heart of Prague! Our stay at The Golden Room Prague was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality and a beautifully designed space that felt both elegant and cozy. The location is perfect—nestled in a charming part of the city with easy access to all the major sights, yet tucked away enough to provide a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring. The room itself was spotless, stylish, and well-appointed with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The attention to detail in the decor made it feel truly special, and the bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep. What really set this stay apart was the service. The hosts were incredibly responsive, providing great recommendations and making sure we had everything we needed. Their hospitality added a personal touch that made us feel right at home. Clean rooms, regular cleaning if you wanted it. We found the walls to be like paper, could hear the people next to us, worst noise was the sound of people going in and out of their rooms and locking the doors. We found the room to be too warm, we were on the top floor, we turned the radiator off, had the option to open the window but that involved leaning over the head board and stretching to open it, there is an A/C unit but this only works during the summer. Area the hotel is in is lovely, short walk to the old town, felt safe to walk around.

clean rooms & very comfortable spacious bed. Room amenities were perfect for our city break stay. However, the safe in our room didn’t work, our room was right on the main staircase and was very loud when people were walking, there is no soundproofing at all (we had a deluxe balcony room). The area is lovely and has good cafes surrounding. Close to transport stops. This wasn’t an issue for us, but it should be noted that this hotel is NOT wheelchair accessible.

The room was very clean. The ground floor room which we originally had was terrible as the entry came off the foyer. We felt there was no privacy nor that the room was safe. We also had no internet access in that room. When we asked to move rooms for the remainder of nights they accommodated us which was great.

Lovely hotel in great area

It was overall a great experience! We enjoyed our stay. Pros: great hot and powerful shower, fantastic location for the river, old town and christmas market, hotel staff very helpful and friendly Cons: car alarm went off for 1 hour one night (not their fault, but limited soundproofing and had to use headphones), bed and pillows were extremely soft (we prefer firm but again personal preference). Overall lovely boutique hotel and would stay again!
