The hotel is tired, it’s clean enough but the furniture is old and worn. Could really do with a facelift in my opinion. The room was comfortable and had what we needed, but it felt old. Great for a short break when visiting family, but we’ve stayed in better places I’m afraid.

I have stayed here about 8 times and it does what I need. not too big, generally quiet, food adequate but not flashy. I would appreciate if sugar free option was available on cereals in the morning especially sugar fee muesli and shredded wheats for us diabetics. staff were helpful and friendly.

The room was lovely and situated brilliantly for me as i I don't walk very well. The view from the patio was outstanding watching the golfers doing part of their round. Can't wait to go back again in the summer when we can sit outside the room on the huge patio. The only thing i can fault it on was the dated furniture which had a few scratches here and there and some stains. We have already booked again for another 2 visits. Also the food in the restaurant wasn't brilliant but maybe we just chose the wrong dishes as the lady next to us had fish and chips and that looked lovely.
