This was an excellent location that was quiet and beautiful with great wildlife around the house. Seeing the bighorn sheep daily was amazing! It was well appointed and the property managers were incredibly responsive. We travel a lot and this was one of our favorite rentals.

Perfect Spot for the Black Hills!

I cannot say enough great things about this property and host. We have stayed at a lot of VRBO properties over the years and had some great hosts but this stay was the best in both categories! Jess was incredible at communicating with us and making sure that we had everything that we needed. Throughout our stay, my wife kept saying, "Of course they have this here!" The house was very well stocked with everything that we needed, including laundry and dishwashing detergent (which was great since we flew to SD). Our kids loved the ping pong and the games.The House was gorgeous and such a perfect, peaceful place to stay. I can't imagine a better place to stay in the Black Hills. We would love to come back!

Game Changer

As you shop for VRBOs in the Rapid City area you will notice lots of listings in the suburbs, kind of boring and not very interesting, you mights as well stay at a hotel. This property is truly different, you are with nature, seperated from neighbors, very very quite, and it could be a game changer for you. Everything worked, clean and function normally.

Over all this house a rating of 1-10 it’s a 9 It is true to pictures, the hot tub was a very special treat and the wildllife You could see just on the property, it was amazing . We had 3 of us we all had our own bedrooms and bath Just perfect , would like to have seen TV’s in the rooms after a long day after dinner and just relax and enjoy a show or the news , not all together in the living room It was a joy and would like to stay here again zzz

Amazing home with incredible views!

Our family had an amazing time at this beautiful property! The house was spotless and had all the amenities we could have hoped for. The kitchen was fully equipped, which made cooking meals a breeze. We loved enjoying family meals on the spacious deck with stunning views. Jess was incredibly responsive and provided great location recommendations, making our stay more enjoyable. Another perfect stay

This was our second time at this home. It was just as great as the first time. The house is stocked with everything you would need and more. We cooked dinner at the house every night so that we could enjoy hot tub time and the amazing views. The rooms and beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are huge, and the air conditioners kept us cold even when temps got into the upper 90s. I don't have anything negative to say about this house. If we come back for a third time, we'll plan our vacation around booking this home.

Gorgeous property and view

We had an amazing time staying at this beautiful property. Located conveniently from the town of Rapid City but in a secluded area overlooking a ravine. The pictures don’t do justice to the breath taking views! Property has everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay with large bedrooms and bathroom suites, a stocked kitchen, and many little extras. Owners Jess and Larry were very responsive and checked in with us to ensure we had what we needed. We spent most nights enjoying the hot tub and grilling family dinners. During the day we traveled to the surrounding attractions with so much to see and do! The location is centered well within the black hills and we could easily travel to each city to explore and get any needed necessities. We highly recommend staying at this property! We had the best family vacation we could have asked for. If you are thinking of booking here, reserve now!

Beautiful home, stunning views!!

Our family of 6 (4 adults, 2 children) had an incredible time at this home. The pictures do. It do the view justice, it stole our breath as we pulled up to the house. The house itself is spacious and well equipped. Each bedroom has its own large bath. The kitchen was an absolute pleasure to cook in for those of us that love to cook. Jess and the property team were friendly and very responsive. Will definitely stay here again!

The views were amazing and your surrounded by wildlife. We saw big horn sheep, deer, turkeys, etc. A beautiful home with comfortable beds and large kitchen and dining areas. A great place to stay in the area.

Rapid City family vacation

Wonderful home and great views, ideal for a large family. Appears to be fairly new with many conveniences. Saw deer and turkeys on the property and isolated from neighbors on a large lot. We used the ping pong table in the large garage and the outdoor gas grill. Had it been cooler, we would have enjoyed the deck more. About a 30 minute drive from Rapid City and other attractions. We all enjoyed our stay there!

This house made the trip!

We loved everything about this house. The pictures listed are exactly what you get and more. You feel at home when you are here. The host is very responsive, and has stocked the house with any essentials you might need or have forgotten. The best part about this house is the VIEW! From everywhere! Pictures don't do it justice. We ate dinner at home every night so we wouldn't miss watching the sun set over the hills and canyon. The kitchen is fully stocked with any cooking equipment you might need - we used the grill a lot so we could take in the view as much as possible. Large bathrooms in every bedroom and very comfortable beds and pillows. Lots of wildlife to see while relaxing on the deck or in the hot tub - deer, turkey, rabbits, big horn sheep. It's also very centrally located to all of the attractions. I can't recommend this house enough. When we come back to the Black Hills, hopefully we can reserve this place again.

South Dakota Family Vacation

We had an amazing family vacation in South Dakota. The house is exactly like pictures show, if not better. It was so well stocked and the location was great. We would absolutely stay here again!

Jewel in the Hills

We loved this hillside home! Our family (mom, dad, two sons age 11 y.o.) vacationed here. The house was as pictured. Jessica was responsive and helpful, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was perfectly stocked with all the cookware you need. The entire back of the home has a deck facing the hills and overlooking a canyon. The views are INCREDIBLE!!! A morning cup of coffee on the deck with the sun rising over the hills was blissful. And, a glass of wine on the deck to watch the changing sky and shadows in the canyon was a perfect way to end each day. We used the fire pit and hot tub, as well. My husband was in charge of the hot tub & said it's the cleanest one he has ever seen in a rental. There is a huge garage and we were able to park our SUV in the garage, which was an added bonus. We usually have to park outdoors when renting a home. There is a nice selection of family games to play. The owners take great pride in this home, and it shows. Wildlife is abundant. We saw a mama deer and her two fawns daily, rabbits, wild turkeys, and many varieties of birds. The home feels like it's out in the country, but is near Rapid City stores/ restaurants. It is centrally located in the Black Hills, with short drives to all the major attractions such as Mount Rushmore, Wind Cave, The Badlands, and Custer State Park. it is just a two hour drive to Devil's Tower in WY. We would return in a heartbeat the next time we get to visit beautiful SD!!

Fantastic House and great location

We had 3 couples in our group. Each of us had our own large bathroom and bedroom! This was fantastic. The house also has a nice 1/2 bath, large utility room and a wonderful chef kitchen! Each bedroom has its own air conditioner so we all had control of temp. Most of us just left windows or sliding door open to enjoy cool night air! I can’t express how wonderful this property is for a great vacation. Hot tub was so clean and wonderful to use in the evening! We hired a chef to cook for a 60th birthday celebrations and loved the fully equipped chef kitchen. If this property is available jump on it!!!

We loved the location of this amazing property! It was easy to take day trips for rock climbing, hiking and day trips. This home was immaculate and the host have thought of everything in regards to amenities. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cook/bakeware....we never ate out!! This home has the most amazing views and we enjoyed seeing some wildlife around in the evenings.
