We got in very early the first day and were able to check in early and get breakfast for 40€. It helped save our trip! Breakfast was great and had little variations. The staff was friendly and helpful. Wonderful location. Room was as described, smaller than American rooms which was to be expected. Bathroom doesn’t have a fully closing door in the king room so be aware of that

Excellent location and breakfast.

The welcome was warm. The location excellent due to being right outside #9 bus stop. The blackout blinds did a great job. The room and facilities were great. Fridge and safe in room, lockers for our stuff on the last day. Breakfast choice was vast from hot food to continental choices. Eat as much as you wish as buffet style.

Great location, fantastic breakfast and the staff were really friendly. However, the rooms are a little tired, the traffic was loud to sleep through and every door slammed closed on that floor and shook the whole room.

We stayed here for 3 nights on our first visit to Iceland. The hotel was in an ideal location - only a 15 minute walk from the bus terminal, right on the Laugavegur street of shops and restaurants but in the quiet area, 5 minute walk to the water edge for some stunning views of mountains. Staff were friendly and helpful, easy check in, clean and spacious rooms with a hot shower and clean bathroom, decent hot and cold breakfast options from 7-10. We had an early check out on our last day and the staff provided an early coffee and croissants before 7:00 (you just need to mention this the evening before). We would definitely recommend this hotel and we would happily stay here again.

Great location and very walkable to many Reykjavik attractions, restaurants and shopping. On-site parking is very limited with 4-6 spaces available. We were able to find an on-site spot when we needed. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was convenient and good quantity.
