We had a great time there. The staff has some of the kindest people we’ve met. The hotel is very well located on the beach and closed to many restaurants, bars, and pharmacies, grocery stores. The building is a little bit on the older side but very clean. The only thing I would say wasn’t the best is the isolation in the rooms. It wasn’t uncommon for us to get waken in the morning by people in the hallway but besides that we really enjoyed our stay and thank the staff for their amazing work. Would absolutely recommend.

Great property ideally situated in the heart of Copacabana. The staff provide excellent service, helpful recommendations and are multilingual. There are stunning views of the beach and even Cristo Rey from our rooms and especially from the rooftop pool. I felt safe staying there, plus loved the access to nearby restaurants, shops and cafes.

This is my second stay at the Windsor Excelsior in Rio. The hotel is clean, the rooms are excellent. Very professional with outstanding customer service. Any time I visit Rio , I will stay at the Windsor Excelsior! We loved our stay!

Stay was ok. Rooms were clean but dated. AC makes lot of noise and there was dirt smell. Think due to old AC. Food, location and other amenities are 5 star. Roof top pool with bar and great views.

This hotel is conveniently located to all touristy things. When I had a room there, the shower head was missing and you could see that it was rusty. The shower did not look clean. The floor in our room was dirty, I knew this because after taken a shower, the bottom of my feet would always get dirty again. The employees are genuinely nice especially Lucas at the bar and in the dining room. It would be helpful in the future that they require Their employees to know the basics of English. Not many employees at the hotel could speak English and it was hard to communicate your needs with them. The food options for breakfast was very limited compared to other hotels. I have stayed at in the past I would like for the food options to be expanded for breakfast.
