Captain Java mökki Morro Bayssä!

This is a beautiful cottage just steps from the beach and the hosts David and Sabine are very gracious and ready to help you and/or answer any questions you might have. Because of the location and the hosts, my husband and I have now stayed here 3 years in a row and are anticipating a return trip very soon. We had so much fun, we hated to go back home and this felt like a second home to us.

We loved the beachy vibe of the cottage inside and on the large patio. Bed was very comfortable. Lots of amenities too! David and Sabine are great hosts. Very nice and helpful. Morro Bay had tons of sea life - sea otters, pelicans, seals, egrets, long-billed curlews, and much more. Lots of gift shops & restaurants in Morro Bay. Sunsets - gorgeous.

Captain Java’s Cottage was exactly as described. Tucked in a beautiful neighborhood, a short walk to the beach and close to Morro Bay, Cayucos and Cambria. What a cute and comfortable place this is. Easy access from the highway and literally steps from the beach. The cottage has just enough room. There is a closet on the way to a spacious bathroom and a small table by a front window. We really liked the front porch/deck area which extends the living space. Bonuses: Its very quiet and the owners were very responsive. Lovely place and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Captain Java’s Cottage

This location had a cottage fell. It was clean, private and just steps away from the ocean. The place had all the items in it that you may have forgot and more. Great location as it was close to hiking, fishing, wine tasting, walking on the beaches and more. I would definitely go back.

This place is better than the listing can even describe. The location is stellar: easy access to the main road, shopping and dining, but most important, a quick and easy walk to the beach.While the space encompasses just one room, the outdoor eating, sitting and washing area make it feel so much larger.The hosts are so thoughtful and supply everything you might forget. In addition, we were greeted with snacks and bubbly!

Beautiful Cozy Getaway

We used to live in Morro Bay and came to visit family for Easter weekend. As soon as we got to Captain Java’s we noticed how immaculately clean it was. They had waters on both sides of the bed, extra toiletries in case we forgot anything, beautiful flowers on the table and some Easter candy. They had coffee, juice and creamer which we enjoyed on the front patio listening to the waves. This is a beautiful place and we will definitely be coming back again. Be safe to leave a note in their guest book

Clean and stocked with anything we could want or need during our stay. We were even offered early check in although our travel time prevented us from taking advantage. Check in process was a breeze and I would surely stay here again if we find ourselves in the area!
