Over the years, my wife and I have spent many nights (20+) at the Changi Village Hotel. We love the hotel, the staff and it's location. However each time we stay, we notice a "slide down hill" in the quality of the accommodation. The hotel has now got to the point that management need to start doing some serious "maintenance". I understand this is difficult, but it is necessary.
The 2nd issue is, in some nations, queuing is VERY important, and in some nations it is less so. As Changi Village hotel caters to both, something needs to be done at the egg station at breakfast. My wife had ordered her omelette, when another man came from behind and ordered his. Result, my wife was served second - why? because she is a woman? My wife felt insulted. THIS NEEDS TO BE SORTED.
All the staff, without exception, were pleasant.
I no longer recommend this hotel - it is with regret that I say this, we will no longer stay at this hotel.
