Housekeeping was not good! There was a long black hair on bottom of the shower (we are both blonde), the body wash dispenser was empty (which of course I did not discover until I was in the shower soaking wet), and there were crumbs on the bed.
The heavy sliding door to get into the bathroom is actually somewhat dangerous. It has a little pocket cut into it surrounded by a decorative metal plate. You're supposed to stick your fingers into this pocket to move the door. However, when closing the door from inside the bathroom, this section of the door moves past the door frame and, due to the inertia of the heavy door, has the capability of bruising and cutting your fingers. Unfortunately, my wife experienced this. On a positive note, the shower did have very nice flow once you figured out the tricky temperature control.
On our recent trip we actually stayed at six different hotels (we were here for three nights). This one had, by far, the worst breakfast. Other than the do-it-yourself waffles, there were no hot entrees. There were some mediocre, pre-wrapped breakfast sandwiches that you could microwave. The area was maintained (and I use that word loosely) are a single, slow-moving woman that barely spoke any English. Used-up items were not restocked, there were puddles of waffle batter on the counter around the machine, the trash can was literally overflowing, etc. Also, breakfast hours are only 7:00 to 9:00 which has the potential to offend both early risers (us) and late.
