My room had a very strong cleaning smell and it emanated throughout the floor. It was quite toxic. There was hair on the floor always and it wasn’t my hair. The strong cleaning smells to mask the sewage smells was very disgusting and off putting.

My go-to when in the city

I always stay here when in Sydney. Fantastic location, only a 10-15 min walk from central station, and a 10-15 min walk from the nearby parking garage which is pretty reasonably priced for the area. The rooms are tiny, but always clean and tidy. And sound proofing isn’t great, as you can hear people in the hallways. Check in and out is always easy, especially if you’re like me and always arriving late at night.

Really great, nice rooms, great location

Everything was great, good location, comfy room, nice bathroom, nice shampoo etc. staff were all friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again

I really enjoyed my stay at Veriu Central. The staff were wonderful plus it’s a funky place in a very convenient location. Two small annoyances. The TV and I had a bit of a battle - most likely operator error! - and I would have loved a face cloth. Overall it was outstanding.

No view. I coud see a wall and big metal pipe No natural daylight which meant the room was very dark. No bedside lamp so you have towalk across the room in the dark after switching the main light off on the wall.

The location was very central and the staff very friendly but paying almost 4000 Dollars for a very small dusty room without daylight and very bad cleaning is really not fair. Sleeping was hard as the air was sticky and the walls so thin and the bed close to the door that you could hear everything. The toilet was dirty and the cleaner stopped cleaning a couple of days later (I stayed 10) and just threw new towles on my bed. I was really sad knowing I spent a lot of money for this uncomfortable stay.
