Stunning Historical Palace with Incredible Staff

Our experience at the Palace Grand Hotel in Varese was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in warmth, charm, and old-world elegance that made our stay unforgettable. At the bar, Domenico and Marco were shining stars. Their hospitality made every visit special, and their mixed beverages were expertly crafted and consistently delicious. Whether we were winding down after a day of adventure or enjoying a pre-dinner cocktail, Domenico and Marco made sure everything was perfect. We left with two new friends. One of the true highlights was the spa experience with Lisa, whose lymphatic drainage massage was absolutely wonderful. She is incredibly skilled, attentive, and made me feel completely relaxed and rejuvenated. It was truly one of the best spa treatments I’ve ever had. We were also lucky enough to plan a rehearsal dinner and Welcome drink experience with Chiara. She went above and beyond to make sure we knew all of our options and plans for our wedding celebration coming up. Her attention to detail, warmth, and thoughtful hospitality made everyone feel welcome and at ease. She’s truly a gem. The grounds of the hotel are stunning, with sweeping views of Lake Varese and an atmosphere that feels both tranquil and grand. Every staff member we encountered was gracious and professional, and the service throughout was top-notch. We can’t wait to return for our wedding celebrations. Recommend for a couples escape

Amazing place, the hill is a bit of a climb but well worth the views, spent a lot of money on taxis as it’s away from a lot of transport links, may be worth hiring a car. Service is amazing, bar staff super helpful and restaurant very nice.

We love the surroundings of the hotel and the Christmas decorations were awesome, creating the holiday vibes. Staff were friendly and accommodating, and the restaurant served excellent food - breakfast and dinner. One thing that can be improved will be the condition of the hotel. Being an establishment with many years of history, the place do look dated and the room allocated to us had a broken toilet. The staff was kind enough to extend us another room beside so that we can access the toilet.
