Our room 1H did not have a working tv and the shower doors did not meet the floor so the water came out from the bottom and got the entire floor wet. Otherwise it was average at best. Would not stay there again.

It was a great stay for two nights. It was quiet and close to everything. Just be aware that if you or your neightbor do noises you will hear them. The shower is super small and the water goes out of it.

We enjoyed our stay at the Vik Cottages and our meal at the associated hotel. We were lucky enough to see the northern lights there for the first time! The only downside was that the wifi in our room didn’t work, as well as the TV, and the controls on the bathroom heater (so it had to stay on a high temperature). Unfortunately, by the time we realized this, it was too late to have someone look into it, but staff was apologetic for the inconvenience. Overall, we would recommend staying here.

The cabins are cute. There are two separate rooms in each cabin, each have their own key, privacy not an issue. I was a little disappointed in the views, I didn’t expect to see a camping spot and other buildings in front of the cabins. While the view was lacking, the location was very convenient for shopping and dining. Overall the rooms were good.

Premium prices for below average accommodation.The door handle of the room was broken and the wind kept slamming the door open. Ended up at having to tie the door closed with a shoelace in the middle of the night. Blanket was barely larger than a towel. No hot water in the morning and a very indifferent staff.

The room in the cottages are cute. The beds are comfy, clean bathrooms, and rooms are a decent size room. The cottages are shared (2 rooms per cottage) but they were still quiet. The views from the cottages are looking at other buildings and a campsite in front. Other than that, they offered enough of what we needed. I would recommend due to proximity to grocery store and shopping.
