Lovely place. Pool was cold but it was April. Outdoor lounges were hard needed some padding. Breakfast was lovely. Plenty of sun lounges. Rooms were spacious and balcony had views of the ocean and pool. Room was cleaned every day and fresh towels was a lovely touch. Very relaxing.

While this is a large resort and meals can get a bit crowded, Blue Ocean could be rated five stars for its great offerings: infinity pool with padded lounge chairs; fantastic food choices; beautiful grounds; and great views of ocean and cliffs. Access to beaches quite steep with lots of steps. Will definitely stay again!

We had a lovely stay at PortoBay Blue Ocean. The rooms were clean, spacious, and very comfortable, and we loved the beautiful plants and trees around the hotel, it gave the place a very peaceful feel. The sunset views were stunning. Such a thoughtful touch when they surprised us with chocolate-covered strawberries and orange juice for a birthday — it made the stay extra special! The variety if options at the breakfast buffet was also good.
