I checked in here for a weeks holiday.
Upon my arrival I was allocated my room which was similar to the one advertised on Expedia.
Once I entered I found that my curtains didn’t close properly, and in the evening I was treated to the noise of their industrial washing machines which kept me awake all night.
In the morning I phoned reception to complain, and was told that they have another room available for me and I would need to leave my current room, leave my luggage with reception and return in an hour.
Once I get back after more than an hour’s wait, I’m told the room still isn’t ready, and I’ll need to wait another hour… I can safely say this ruined my holiday plans for that day.
I wait, and once I’m given my new room key, I find it doesn’t work, so return to reception yet again for a replacement key.
The new room was a massive downgrade on what I was led to believe I would be getting on Expedia.
The walls were marked, and the carpets were covered in black stains.
The air conditioning was broken, and a stand alone fan was left for me instead, however all this done was circulate hot hair around the small room.
The bathroom was much smaller and the sink blocked, it took forever to drain.
I don’t think the bed sheets were changed, just made tidy each day upon request.
I made complaints to Expedia who passed these on to the management of the hotel.
Management denied all of my claims despite me providing detailed video evidence of everything wrong in the room.
