Adequate but nothing special
The hotel is on the edge of the town so is a bit of a walk to any shops, bars or restaurants. There's no real atmosphere at this venue and although I only stayed one night, there was nothing about my visit that would make me want to come back. Having said that, it was clean and functional.

Disappointing,
Pool and showers not clean, mould in the shower. Waiting for a drink was far too long, food at the restaurant disappointing as well as there in no variety of food, just a few options, restaurant service not great either. We were 4 guests and we only got 2 towels in the bathroom. Overall wasnt a great experience for us and I can't really recommend this to someone else.

Modern hotel let down by poor maintenance
Pros:Breakfast buffet is very good. Beds are very comfortable.
Cons:Almost all maintenance issues, especially aircon, telephone system, lighting (bulb replacement), plumbing. Shower doors are very narrow.
Location:Set in a rural area on the border of Galway and Roscommon. A decent stopover option.
This is a modern hotel, but shows signs of a lack of investment since it was built. I had updated my booking on Expedia, but the hotel's system thought I'd cancelled. Fortunately no problem being checked in even so. The hotel was uncomfortably warm due to solar gain. Aircon was not working and led to poor sleep quality. Staff at check-out said system was being modernised and apologised that I had not been offered a fan (apparently I should have noticed sooner that the aircon didn't work and complained). Telephone handsets constantly flash the "message waiting" button, and I was told to unplug the handset if I wanted it to stop! On the plus side, there's an excellent breakfast, a swimming pool and gym, and free parking underground. But it could be so much better with a bit more customer care and upkeep.

Nice, needs a little attention decor wise
Stayed 1 night for a wedding. Hotel is impressive on entering reception. Our room was nicely decorated.
The main toilets off reception had locks broken on nearly all of the doors as well as the coat / bag hook on the back of the door. The food was average. Cavery lunch also average.
It is a lovely hotel, it just could do with some attention to detail.
